NBC has granted a second season to American Gladiators, the updated version of the 1990s syndicated competition series. The renewal was a no-brainer for the Peacock: Gladiators premiered on Jan. 6 as the network’s biggest series debut since Heroes, earning a 5.9 rating and 14 share in adults 18-49, and attracting 12 million viewers overall. Those numbers also mark the highest rated new-series premiere on any network in adults 18-49 through the first 15-weeks of the 2007-08 season. Show execs promise new challenges for the next cycle. No word yet on when it will kick off.
In other reality TV news, CBS has ordered three new “alternative/reality” shows for later this year: the biweekly celebrity talent contest Secret Talents of the Stars, the hidden
camera game show Game Show in My Head, and America’s Top Dog, a competition series pitting dog and owner teams up against each other.
Get used to this type of programming… that does NOT need the WGA!

Yea I have seen Belinda Gavin last night in softcore porn and she was also on that dating show The Fifth Wheel back in the day. It felt like she was playing a character every time she spoke.
