NBC announced today that it will relaunch Heroes, as well as the struggling freshman series Chuck and Life, in the fall. Heroes is the Peacock’s No. 1 series this season in the all-important adults 18-to-49 demographic and has averaged 13.1 million viewers. Chuck didn’t lure quite the same size audience; the show, about a techie with government secrets in his brain, only averaged 8.7 million. Meanwhile, the drama — about an offbeat detective who served time in prison for a crime he didn’t commit — averaged 8.1 million.
