Now that we’re down to nine finalists on American Idol, the mad frenzy to project the winner has begun. Joining in on the fun was Season 6 winner Jordin Sparks, who EW.com caught up with at Saturday’s Kids Choice Awards in Los Angeles. “I hate to choose because they are all good and I don’t want to discourage any of them, but based on what happened last week I think David Cook has a good chance of being the last one standing,” said Sparks, while on a break from walking the orange carpet of Nickelodeon’s annual awards fete. “He sang the heck out of ‘Billie Jean.’ I didn’t even know it was ‘Billie Jean’ when he started the song. I think that is a good example of taking a risk and it paying off. It is really hard because they want you to take risks, and the judges ream you if you don’t, but they also often come after you when you take one they didn’t like.” Still, Sparks continued, “A lot can change from week to week. Voters have short-term memories, so if David blows it next week he could go home and I’d have to pick a new favorite. It is so unpredictable.”
Sparks will appear on Idol Gives Back on April 9, and she’s scheduled to go on tour with Alicia Keys and Ne-Yo this spring. “Sometimes I can’t believe this is my life,” she said. “I still get butterflies when I hear my song on the radio.” (Reporting by Carrie Bell)

Why is Jordin’s name spelled wrong in the heading? It’s not hard to spell correctly.
Probably the reason why Giganta’s name is misspelled in the headline is because she’s not as famous as she seems in these part of the EW woods. And, oh, I don’t think they even heard her song(s?) on the radio. bwahahaha!

I was out buying CD’s the other day and I looked for yours…it wasn’t under the best sellers…it wasn’t under top 100…Gee, I couldn’t even find it in the bargin bin. I just don’t get it. Very strange though…I did find a CD out by that adorable WINNER of American Idol…Jordin Sparks. You know, that incredibly talented 18 yr. old who has accomplished more in her teenage years than you will your entire life!!
Oh, I forgot..with your good looks and hard toned body you feel you have the right to comment on other people and put them down…Hey, your phone is ringing! Maybe it’s Tyra!!! NOT!!!

So sorry that you are not able to recognize sarcasm when it walks up and slaps you in the face. If you had read David’s original post you would have seen that he trashed Jordin bad and I guess he thought it made him a “BIG” man. I was replying to his post as it angered me he made fun of Jordin’s size and record sales. I was attempting to show my support of Jordin using dry humor. Since you seem not to understand my meaning let me break it down to you in words with one syllable. (or 2!)
David is not a nice person to make fun of Jordin. She is not fat and did win American Idol and has made more money than David can ever hope to. Unless David is as handsome as Brad Pitt he has no room to make fun of other’s looks. (Hence the Tyra remark.) and lastly…to make fun of a young girl…little more than a child is akin to being cruel…and someone that mean spirited to make fun of children would also get their jollies being mean to puppies and kittens. (hence PETA)
And just to clear up any further misunderstanding…I was referring to David the poster at 12:31am. not Daivd Cook. I like David Cook and enjoyed his rendition of Billie Jean. I think he is the best performer of this season however I think little David’s voice is actually the best one of all the contestants. I also have a special affinity for David Cook as we are both from the same place. I am from Independence Missouri and he is from Blue Springs Missouri. Just as I had a special affinity for Jordin as our last names are the same.
I hope that this clears up any confusion and if anyone still does not “get” my first post titled “Dear David” perhaps you can look up sarcasm in the dictionary. Thank You!

Doing a cover of a Chris Cornell cover is “taking a risk”? Shows you how much she knows. David CRook does decent covers of covers but I wish he’d just give proper credit to the singers/bands he rips off whenever the judges heap praises on him for his “originality” and “creativity”.
