I was impressed with the start of the new season, so maybe this isn’t so bad. I thought Michael Rosenbaum leaving would be bad, but now they get to repeat his compelling storyline with the new CEO of Luthercorp: she has to follow in Lex’s footsteps to find him, just as Lex followed in Lionel’s footsteps to become the man he is. I’m glad Kara’s gone (I never thought I’d say that), and Lana’s leaving is sad, but she does end up with Pete Ross in the comics. As for the comic/show thing, even the comics change the storyline a bunch of times, so I thought they did a good job. I wonder how they’re going to handle the show/movie, since Clark is already at the Daily Planet! I also founds some old Black canary comics and her costume is spot on: love the fishnets.

The absolute best thing on TV i have seen every episode and own every one available on DVD but i must say that it worries me that lex is gone i think that was a bad move glad lana is gone her acting was the worst on the show and her voice was getting to be like nails on a chalk board to me.
i also wish lionel didn’t die i really
liked his role people keep leaving the show i don’t think this is smart
also clarks mom should visit once in awhile it’s not realistic if she does not i mean it’s not like she died or left the planet. i still love the show i just keep seeing all the wrong moves.

In all honesty, I believe that the last few episodes have been very corny and too much of a chick-flick! Smallville was one of our families favorite shows, now we are really wondering if we will continue to watch it at all. Bring back the original people!!!!

I saw tonight’s episode and really wanted someone to put me out of my misery. Bring back the man of steel and get rid of all this mushy stuff!! Half the characters have tears in their eyes the entire episode. I’m sorry but I need a barf bag. They are making Clark into such a sensitive wussy I can’t hardly stand to watch. Is he going to become SM someday or girly man?? Hey writers, good job castrating the man of steel!

I agree with one comment I read near the top, “Smallville is becoming a chick-flick with all the mushy-stuff”
Yeah enough already!!! I’ve been locked in to smallville since the beginning…and it’s agonizing with trying to understand the writers perspective on certain episodes. It’s like watching a night-time soap-opera…and I hate soap operas!! ENOUGH ALL READY!! On with the capes and superpowers. There’s more stuff going on with Heroes than there is with Smallville…and that’s sad!!

As a grown black man I dug that show I would rush home to watch it Clark didn’t even fly yet. He saved the world once again. There some much more.
