I can’t believe this. Without Lex and all the regular characters, I really do hope that Smallville is still going to maintain the intensity it has throughout the years. Very let down by this. Wish Michael would stay. I can’t see anyone else playing the role of Lex after watching Michael portray this character for so many years now. Tom Welling is great, but you have to maintain that supporting actor, which is this case to me is Michael as the villain.
I WOULD LIKE TO THANK THE WHOLE CAST OF SMALLVILLE.EVERY ONE OF YOU ARE HEROES AND IT IS VERY GOOD YOU HAVE KEPT SUPERMAN ALIVE. AND THE MEMORY OF C.REEVES.
The show has become like 7th Heaven, nothing but a setting for hotties. They need some new ideas and this might shake things up.
I am extremely sad to see M.R. leave. I loved watching the way that he protrayed Lex’s tortured soul. He is an amazing actor and Smallville is not going to be the same without him…(However he does need to move on to bigger and better things for sure…maybe a comedey role or something to showcase his sense of humor and grow the hair back!!) I am still going to watch Smallville, but I am not going to hold my breath for high ratings after loosing the fabulous actors/characters that they have…Jonathan Kent, Martha Kent, Lionel, now Lex….

What the heck? how can Lex Luthor NOT be in Smallville? That sucks! I love this show! it’s one of the best out there. I’ll still watch it but it won’t be the same. M.R played a GREAT Lex Luthor, i hope to at least see him as a guest star….
