Tori Spelling, a member of the original Beverly Hills, 90210 cast, will reprise her role as Donna Martin in the upcoming spinoff for The CW. She’ll play the owner of a chichi store in Beverly Hills, a hot shopping spot for local youths. She’s the second alum to join the spinoff; Jennie Garth has already signed on to recur as a guidance counselor at West Beverly High School. Exec producers Gabe Sachs and Jeff Judah have indicated that they intend to recruit as many original cast members as they can to the new series, which stars Rob Estes, Lori Laughlin, and Jessica Walter. The series debuts this fall on The CW.

Donna Martin Graduates! And then does a bunch of crappy movies, works at an inn paid by the Oxygen network, and ends up back where she started.
    Where’s Valerie Malone?

It would make more sense to me if the person coming home to Beverly Hills (i.e the Rob Estes character) was someone from the original cast like Brandon moves back to BH after being in Washington. The should bring all the old cast back! Jennie Garth is probably the most successfull of the bunch and she’s not too proud to revisit where she started!

Can a show jump the shark before it’s started filming any episodes?

Did Tori and her husband close their Bed and Breakfast? I have grown new respect for her. I didn’t like her during 90210, but then she was really funny in So Notorious and she was really human in the reality show. Good for you Donna! Let’s just hope she’s not still together with David!!! And will Donna still be a virgin??

You just know Ian Ziering keeps checking his cell phone every 5 minutes to make sure the sound isn’t turned off and he doesn’t miss this call.

I was extremely insulted today when I read in the Toronto Star that Lori Laughlin snubbed Shannen Doherty by saying that the latter would absolutely not be involved in the new 90210. Perhaps the ‘star’ of Full House does not realize that upon the original 90210 ending TV Guide and many other critics dissed the show as having badly faltered with Doherty’s exit. Also Ms Doherty was actively involved in the 90210 reunion on Fox a few years back and there was no indication that she did anything to antagonize fellow castmates. Perhaps Ms Laughlin can get the smelly Olsen twins to guest on her lame imitation instead of Doherty.
