Despite a report today from the Hollywood Reporter, a Gossip Girl spin-off, potentially featuring Jenny Humphrey (Taylor Momsen), is not a sure thing, according to the show’s creator, Josh Schwartz. "The books do have a spin-off, but we have no plans right now for a TV spin-off," Schwartz tells EW.com "Everyone is focused on making season 2 as good as possible — that’s our goal right now. Not saying never, just very premature."
Gossip Girl, which returns for its sophomore season this fall, is the 195th-ranked show on television with 2.3 million viewers. It’s the CW’s ninth-ranked show, behind Supernatural, One Tree Hill, and Smallville.
it should be premature since…. no one is watching this show!! any show on Animal Plant has higher ratings! at 195 in the ratings I am sure only Entertainment Weekly and E! employees watch it. let it go. Maybe a Meerkat Manor spin off instead?
