Hope the writers keep her but have her do nothing. Make the b!tch an extra with no airtime everyweek. She deserves it.

Sounds like David Caruso..oops, Katherine Heigl, has decided she’s too big a star for television now. Hope you got some good sunglasses too Katie.

I didn’t feel like she was saying it as a criticism. Certain shows, certain seasons, certain storylines are more important. That just happens.

I got news for you Heigl:
GET OFF YOUR HIGH HORSE!!! GREYS MADE YOU WHO YOU ARE NOW…

To be fair everyone gets their season to shine, I believe season 2 when denny was there was her season. Sure meredith always gets to shine but she is the leading character. I think she should suck it up, the show has about 12 main characters she can’t be too greedy, everyone needs there air time. This season wasn’t hers but she should be greatful to be on a hit juicy drama like grey’s. I say count your blessings like Sara(callie). The season finale was shot until 5 in the morning and there was no other place she’d rather be, simple because she’s greatful try taking a lesson out of Callie book Izzie. I love you and all but overall the integrity of the show does come first.

Why do people get so defensive if an actor does not gush 100% of the time? Telling the truth is not insulting the writers or complaining! The Izzy/George story line was an error. It sucked. Izzy’s character didn’t have huge Emmy-worthy moments. I think it was classy of her to take her name out–it lends more credibility to the nominations.

I think she did the right thing by with drawing her name. She was right the whole show went down hill this last season. The writers strike ruined many shows that where good, now it not even worth the effort to pick up the remote to turn them on. She just stated what everyone was thinking.

I really used to like Katherine Heigl, but now she annoys me.
Her comments come out so bitchy and ungrateful.
The writers of Greys should just kill her ass off and maybe she can show a sign of gratitude for something.

  • Phoebe

How pretentious and arrogant of her. She probably would not have been nominated anyway. It really is stupid to bite the hand that feeds you.

  • Cara

I love hearing from Katherine Heigl–she’s one of the few people in Hollywood that I know is going to give it to us straight, every time. She says what she’s thinking, and while that might rub some people the wrong way, she’s never going to sugarcoat it for the benefit of the easily-offended few. She’s polarizing, certainly, and sometimes her comments are a little over the top, but you can’t say she isn’t honest.
I like and respect this decision. I think it shows a lot of artistic integrity.

I thought it was fine what she said. Who knows, maybe Grey’s was pushing her to submit an entry. It was an awful season for her character (Gizzie, the stupid deer, etc.). I’m glad she’s strong enough to speak her mind.

  • David

She should remember two words: David Caruso

  • Julia

She did the right thing, but she sure does come off as a brat.

  • common sensse

she’s a good actress and its her decision to do and say what she did. she shouldn’t be demonized for it.

  • mememe

She is such an ungrateful and rude brat. Just let her go, Shonda.
