Are you paying attention CBS?? Stop messing with my favourite show on TV.! It was bad enough when you killed Kate. The team works in every way…I will not watch the new team…

I don’t know how many times the producers have to say that McGee, DiNozzo and Ziva aren’t going anywhere for it to sink in. Frankly, with LaPaglia and Lapira back it’s going to be a really interesting ride. I think we should all sit tight and enjoy they fact we get Harmon and LaPaglia on screen together for an undisclosed period of time. It’s going to be awesome.

Seriously people… it’s a story. No different then when Gibbs quit at the end of season 3 and went to Mexico. Take a deep breath and relax.

  • Glenn Koons

My wife and I view little of ‘regular’ TV but NCIS is one which we never fail to see. Harmon is so real, and the big 3, Ducky and the Goth are people we ‘care’ about. New people just foul up the chemistry. Unless they expand the entire team, this will not work and as when other teams have been deleted, watchers will just turn to some other program. Weatherly is a must to keep. The program also is one of the few to take on Islamofascism which I entirely approve. Will PC malarky also be added to the new ‘team’?

I’m assuming TPTB are toying with us – which seems to have worked. We’ve been told this is not a House maneuver. So I believe we will see the old team – probably at their new assignments PLUS see Gibbs dealing with the new team. At some point they will all come together and our team will be back.
The “Tony” replacement sounds very very professional – I would think he would have his own team – by that description. He was recruited by Gibbs? High praise.
So I will sit back and give it a go – these guys aren’t that stupid and are just messing with us! (See Kripke – I’ve learned – you guys like to see us get all riled up — re: “love interest”)

  • DebS

Ummm Yeah… Unless Tony, McGee and Ziva I’m not intrested in watching.

  • Jennifer

It’s interesting (reading) the different opinions of the Ziva character. I never thought I could like whoever replaced Kate (I loved her) but Ziva is so different from Kate that the more I watched the more I liked and I can’t image her without the team now. When will September be here? I can’t take much more waiting!

  • A Little LaPaglia Never Hurts

I glanced at the picture of Johnathan and thought what is Anthony LaPaglia doing on NCIS??? A little LaPaglia is better than none, in my book.

  • Ana

OH no! You don’t fool me, even though I read you mischiveous clues I still think it’s My name is Earl you were talkin’ about! :P

  • Deborah

I hope the NCIS replacements don’t stay very long. The show won’t be the same with out Ziva,Tony and McGee.

  • Marcie

If there is no Tony, Ziva, and Mcgee aren’t on than i don’t want to watch it any more.

  • Lianne

I doubt this will last long. After all, right before the ‘new’ director broke the team up, he was shown pulling something out of his own (?) file and shredding it. My guess, is that the first part of the season will lead to discovering this, and eventually bringing the team back together.
And artist? The whole reason for this switch up was that Director Holly (who I wasn’t crazy about either) was killed, and her replacement made this change.

  • nikitaj

Ugh. Can we actually kill these new characters off BEFORE the season starts. What is CBS thinking? Nobody cares about the new team, nobody wants them to stick around. I am a loyal NCIS fan and have seen every episode…but I refuse to watch it until they fix this mess, ditch the tailies, and get back to Tony, Ziva, and McGee. I can only hope that Gibbs hates his new team so much he shoots them all in the first 5 seconds of the premiere.

  • nikitaj

That being said, it’s already been spoiled the old team is coming back, just a matter of how long it takes, but for as long as they drag it out. I won’t watch.

  • CJ

    *Sniff*
I miss Ziva, Tony & the Probie already!
At least they aren’t trying to simply replace the three of them by creating characters that are so similar that you can’t help but call them mini-me’s.
I just hope this isn’t a “House” mistake.
