Exclusive: Rose McGowan In, Katee Sackhoff Out on 'Nip/Tuck'

Katee Sackhoff’s upcoming four-episode stint on Nip/Tuck is undergoing what you might call an extreme makeover.

Sources confirm to me exclusively Rose McGowan has replaced Sackhoff in the role of Theodora “Teddy” Lowe, a doctor and potential love interest for Sean (Dylan Walsh). The recast comes on the heels of news that Sackhoff has inked a deal to headline NBC’s Dick Wolf-produced cop pilot Lost and Found, so it’s probably safe to assume that a scheduling conflict led her to back out of the Nip/Tuck gig.

For McGowan, the Nip/Tuck arc marks her first major TV role since Charmed went poof in 2006.

    Ugh. Hate her.

I think it’s better casting. Katee looked way too young for Sean and I’ve always liked Rose.

Pardon my french, but HOLY CRAP!!! Rose McGowan and Julian McMahon together on screen again! It’s like a mini Charmed reunion. As much as Nip/Tuck annoys me I must watch this.

    Nobody cares.

Coincidentally, I went poof this morning.

As long as she is naked….

Good for Katee – better project for her than appearing on a declining and increasingly ridiculous show.

McGowan certainly has the plastic surgery pedigree.

I’m so excited! I love Rose McGowan.

    boobs!

it’s just now a declining and increasingly ridiculous show? this show has been crap since the end of season 1.

Rose is a good actress, and she’s still hot.

It can’t be just me; when I see pics of Rose nowadays, all I can see is her plastic surgery, and my eyes keep trying to find exactly what has changed. I can never just look at her face; this may be a problem for my watching N/T.

Does anybody out there know…when Nip/tuck will return to FX ? I miss it – I think it is better than most of what is currently airing on the 3 major networks btw . Julian McMahon still one of the hottest men on television – no contest. also RIP to FX show DIRT , I actually liked that show …but i guess i was int he minority on that one. Back to topic….Rose McGowan , good actress, survived being with Marilyn Manson – good for her ! I think she will be a great addition to the N/T cast .

It seems like its been forever since season 5 ended. When is it coming back?
