I’m chiming in with everyone asking about the TV Watches. I couldn’t care less about a recap of whatever the current pointless reality TV show on MTV is. How about you talk about the shows that ARE getting the ratings? It’s all mindless reality shows or CW crap. Some of us aren’t 16, FYI.
The exception to this is Doc Jensen’s TV Watch on Lost, which is EXCELLENT.
I don’t care what timeslot House holds, or what team is in or out, I will continue to watch! People who boycott the show simply because of the new team are silly. Easy kids, Chameron will have their own ep soon. The end is not near, I’m sure. In the meantime, enjoy the new House/Wilson storyline while it lasts and chillax!
my god….how long will it take for Huntington’s to kill that BORING 13!!! The reason House is my favorite drama:
1)Wilson/House dynamic
2)House/ORIGINAL staff dynamic
3)House/Cuddy dynamic
If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it
If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it? That’s what the Republicans said about the economy until it was too late!!
ummmmm……the economy WAS broke..House, imo was NOT broke with the original cast
Yikes! I thought House was on Monday night! Why do they keep changing the timeslots?
Where’s the House recap?
Hey I totally agree with Anthony C — 90210 is horrible, not because of skinny girls. If only. How about lousy writing? Uninspired characters (Jessica Walters and Rob Estes aside)and Bad acting? Hmmm? Fans of the Original flavor are surely disappointed in the crapfest that is the “new” 90210. And if only the new skinny girls could act. Show won’t last long. It can’t even be considered a guilty pleasure. It’s just stupid.
“Anthony C
On a tangent, 90210 is horrible, because of uninspired writing, elementary acting and the million commercial breaks, NOT because of the skinny girls. If anything, the guys watching aren’t paying much attention to plot anyways. But 90210 is a HUGE disappointment.”
if anybody wants to read a funny recap of House.. there’s one on tvgasm . com.
I´ve never know what viewers are supposed to do with this sort of articles. Should the House fans go on the streets and try to convert others? (Sell! Sell!) Should we avoid shows just because they didnt get a good opening day (like some people do with movies)? LOL.
When I first watched House, I thought “Brilliant, but nobody will get it and wont last. Hugh will get an Emmy and that´s it.” To my surprise, a lot of people loved it and it´s still on, (and Hugh doesnt have an Emmy yet). Your numbers are better than what I had expected. As long as they have enough viewers they will stay on, and when they dont, the cast will move on to other projects. Maybe Hugh will finish his second novel at last.
House is going to be on through at least the 2012 season according to Hugh Laurie’s new contract. and as for 90210 I give it another month maybe as it has gotton worse with each episode and once Brenda leaves completely itll be done this time around. Its a shame i was really hopeing it would be good.
I don’t think skinny actress issues are affecting viewership. It’s the fact that a dull and goofy 80′s show from the Spelling factory of paint by numbers soap operas is being trotted out to a post-Buffy/Veronica Mars/O.C. world. The CW can’t really expect to grab viewers with the sappy drivel of yesteryear. 90210 was lame in the 80′s, so it’s no surprise that digging up the corpse of 90210 and dressing it up in hoochie skirts doesn’t keeping it from being the stank-a-dankest new show of the season.
