'Brotherhood' star Ethan Embry wonders about the show's future

Tagged:

Could this be the last season of Brotherhood? Co-star Ethan Embry — who plays Declan Giggs on the Showtime drama — thinks it may be the case. EW.com caught up with the actor at last night’s red carpet premiere of Eagle Eye, in which he co-stars with Shia LaBeouf and Michelle Monaghan, to talk about the dramas return on Sunday, Nov. 2. “I’m kind of getting the feeling that they might end it this year and wrap up loose ends, but if everyone starts realizing what a great show it is and starts watching, they’d probably squeeze a couple more out,” Embry says. “I’m willing to do whatever number of seasons because I love the show.”

A spokesperson for Showtime, which will air eight episodes of Brotherhood this season, said no decision has been made about the show’s future. “It is more of the same,” Embry says of the current season, “corruption, stealing, lying, cheating and manipulation… everything that the American public has come to expect from Brotherhood.” — With reporting from Carrie Bell
