They are great friends that know each other well.. What makes them special is the fact that their relationship is built on more than that typical, cliched sexual tension crap that you see with every other couple on TV.<br /> Eric is right – Daniel and Betty’s relationship is complex, BUT that’s exactly why so many fans want them to be together by the end of the series…including me. Their relationship is so multi-faceted and interesting that they really make a sweet pair. By the time this show finishes, I really can’t see how either of them will end up with anyone else, considering how well they complete each other.<br /> And BTW, Renee’s character is gone. Gabrielle’s stint on the show was never meant to be long term.<br /> Also, Michael? Your interview with Eric really didn’t answer the rumor question. He never said “yes” or “no” to what you were asking.<br /> Trust me – the possibility of a D/B romance isn’t dead.
