Exclusive: 'House' Boss Dishes 'Huddy' and 'Foreteen'! Plus: Chase Confronts Death!

Tags:

Man, my exclusive Emmy red carpet Q&A with House exec producer Katie Jacobs is the gift that keeps on giving.

Not only did it give me fodder for two consecutive Ask Ausiellos, but that spellbinding scoop about the birth of Foreteen (formerly known as Thoreman) even made its way into last week’s EW.

And I’ve saved the best for this week’s episode of Ausiello TV: the actual interview itself!

As an added bonus, House‘s underused Jesse Spencer makes a cameo and breaks news about the life-and-death arc that will likely pull Chase off the backburner.

Enjoy!

god i really dont get jesse spencer.. he acts like he still is an important part of the show.. althought he has just been an overpaid extra for 1,5 season now

  • Rachel

You misspelled ‘fourteen’ hun. Pretty blatant mistake, you need a better editor.

  • Kenny

He didn’t misspell fourteen. It was a play on Foreman + Thirteen. So FORE (from Forman) and teen from Thirteen = FORETEEN..Get it?

Wow, Rachel. He meant foreteen as in Foreman + Thirteen. Man you are just… not smart. And Michael, forgive me, but it seems like the only person talking about Huddy in this interview, is you. Say whaaaa? You got me all excited. Thirteen is a but boring, not really new worthy at this point. But I am excited to see more of foreman. An “Thoreman” is an absolutely genius name. Even though Rachel clearly didn’t get it.

  • @Stefan

Jesse Spencer/Chase is one of the most popular characters on House and is very important because some views have stopped watching in his absence witch is more then you can say for 13. I think the show would actually gaine views in her absence. LOL

No matter how hard I try, I just can’t get excited about Foreteen. OE is a terrific actor, but Foreman has never been the most interesting of the Ducklings. That, coupled with the overabundance of screentime Thirteen has already received, makes this seem like a big mistake. Hopefully the writers will prove me wrong.
Still looking forward to the House/Cuddy, though.

Jesse Spencer is for sure the hottest thing on this show. Shore better makes some use of that soon! Eye-candy is always good ;)
House used to be the coolest and wittiest series on TV, but lately it’s getting booooooring !!!

Micheal, Micheal! Where is hameron good news? I’m waiting you!

  • laylagalise

Well, I guess you mentioned the kiss… All we got from Katie was info about 13. On the other hand, yay for more Chase screentime! I wonder if he accidently kills someone.

  • Debbie

Spoilers about the girly blond guy and 4man. Don’t care.
Using 13 to make 4man more popular. Not working.

  • Jan

    Someone make it stop. Please.
No offence to Olivia Wilde but Thirteen is the most boring, annoying character I can remember. I don’t care about her kissing another woman, which is a cheap tease to bring in the guys or about her relationship with Foreman which everyone predicted from last February. Please can Chase euthanize her and put us all out of our misery?
I’m sick of hearing about Thirteen and the Huddy kiss. Katie Shore said there would be more Chase and Cameron but it looks like the first time they show up other than as a cameo is episode 6, which is going to be all about the Huddy kiss and the best they can come up with for Chase is a recycled euthanasia plot from season 3. Jacobs and Shore need to stop lying to the audience. This show will never be as good as it used to be.

  • Joey

Maybe Chase will euthanize 13! Then they can throw a parade in his honor.

Jan, who the hell is Katie Shore? You’re a dumbass.

  • Jan

Katie Jacobs and David Shore. The computer blipped.
Or maybe they’re working with one brain these days. The show’s that much less intelligent.
