It's Official: FX's 'The Riches' Goes Belly Up

    Jumped the shark very early on. Lots of potential but became infected with a rampant case of dumb.

    Very sad news. This show was original, clever and very enjoyable. It is still amazing to me that shows like this get cancelled and other, far less worthy shows, stay on the air.

    this is just terrible the show was clever and well written. as per the usual all good shows with followings get axed in favor of crap.

    This is why I don’t like watching anything new! Every time I start to enjoy a show, it gets the ax. Maybe it’s me?

    This show was terrible. All of you who think it’s “original” and “clever” are the people who get good shows cancelled in the first place. It was a dog on FX!!!

    First season….amazing, Second season…not so much. That’s probably where it hit its downfall. Some of the best shows get cancelled early on. (Jack and Bobby, The Black Donnelly’s, Freaks and Geeks, etc…) It’s just too bad that The Riches had to be on that list too.

    The good news is I won’t have to spend an absolute fortune collecting the entire series on DVD. Alias was only five seasons and I had to remortgage me house! Frak!

    Damn! I was still pissed over Moonlight being cancelled and now this too? WTF? At least I have True Blood.

    This stinks. That was a really good show. It felt like a great indie movie that just kept moving forward. What a bummer that this is canceled and Fringe is still on. I know that they are very different shows, but come on!! Why do all the great ones suffer in the ratings/get cancelled?

    loved minnie driver in this. i’ve loved her ever since Good Will Hunting. the only other show on tv worth watching besides this is bones… SO sad this got canceled. i’ll miss it a lot!

    I loved this series. Loved Sopranos, Rome, Deadwood, Carnivale as well.
