best news ever. maybe this means there’ll be a 7th season of oth???
more gg, 90210 and oth talk at sizzling.wordpress.com
So when do we get the 90210 TV watch blog?????
If there’s more 90210 please can we have more Kelly? She’s the only reason I’m watching.
Well, contrary to all the Supernatural fans before me I won’t ask for more SPN episodes, I think Supernatural is a well defined, well planned story and asking the writers to just come up with a couple of more episodes seems unprofessional … however, an early renewal is always welcome
put us all out of our misery and let us know we’re having our 5th (and presumably last) season!
I WANT MORE SUPERNATURAL EPISODES!
Gossip girls and OTH got 18 episodes last season, SPN had only SIXTEEN!
SPN DESERVES at least 25 episodes if not more than GG and OTH this season!
And to Jakob who said that SPN is the CWs weakest performers in the 18-34 women demo! Put GG, 90210 or OTH on Thursday and we will see what kind of ratings they get, not to mention that the promotion by the CW has been a joke for SPN!!!! How much money has the CW spend on their promotion?!
Courtney, I doubt Ostroff will pick up Pushing Daisies. Ostroff wants to appeal to the young teenage demographic, because… well I suspect she her prom date ditched her, but whatever. I love Pushing Daisies, but this network loves sucking. They turned down Moonlight, even though it has a large fanbase, the will turn down PD.
On another note, SUPERNATURAL! Come on! Why are they keeping 90210? That show is horrible. And I mean horrible. Rip-off of Gossip Girl. And OTH? Really? Really?
Eh, I don’t care. I rather have an early renewal for Supernatural, then one or two more episodes added on. Or how about a little appreciation from Dawn O? That would be a nice change.
“SPN DESERVES at least 25 episodes if not more than GG and OTH this season!”
?? why? supernatural is the least watched cw show after privileged.
Hey, yo! 18-34 chicky right here who only watches the CW for Supernatural. Yeah, no Nielsen, so it doesn’t count, but we are out there.
getgo: I dont know where you get your info from but Supernatuarl is one of the CW’s highest rated shows, not it’s lowest, you’re talking rubbish. The CW’s highest rating shows in order are ANTM, Smallville, One Tree Hill and Supernatural. Gossip Girl and 90210 come much further down the list, in fact 90210 is ranking below Privileged at the moment.
How about the CW actually give its best show some credit and give Supernatural more episodes?
GG defiintely deserves more episodes. I’m thinking 27+ like OC Season 1. OTH having 24 episodes is alright but that show has lost my interest(it doesn’t have the same edge as it did the first 2-3 seasons. Smallville and Supernatural both definitely deserve 24 episode seasons if that’s going around, especially since all shows were short changed last season because of the strike. And while were at it how about a 24 episode 4th Season of Veronica mars? hmmm? 2 years later? they could run with that.
I admit, I’m bummed that Supernatural wasn’t also given a couple more episodes. However, given a choice, I’d rather they give Supernatural an early renewal for a 5th season (to make it easier for them in planning out the rest of Season 4 and for setting up Season 5).
Also .. it is hard enough for Jensen and Jared to find projects that fit into their summer haitus with a 22-ep season. Adding more episodes to this season could prevent one or both of them from being able to work outside the show (if they wanted to). And I love seeing them in other things too.
I think Supernatural deserves an extended season. It’s easily the greatest show in the CW. To be honest, I think the other shows are crap next to Supernatural. So more episodes to Supernatural please!!
Getgo, get your answers straight. It’s one of the highest rated, 90210 is one of the lowest. To top it off, Supernatural has the largest fanbase of any show on the CW, and one of the largest fanbase of any show, period.
But I rather have Supernatural renewed early for a fifth season, then just get a few more episodes on season four.
WHAT!! Smallville is the number 1 show on the network, it should be the fist show to get additional episodes.
