Stop comparing Samantha Who to Pushing Daisies. Samantha Who is a really cute little sitcom and Christina Applegate is so funny. And I’m not normally into sitcoms. How is 10.5 million viewers so-so? I love this show! And it’s a totally female-driven comedy, which is RARE!

How can you call Jennifer Esposito the weak link?? She’s hysterical. Infact all the actors are great from Christina Applegate to Tim Russ. I’m really glad there’ll be more episodes this season, its one of the best comedies on at the mo.

Samantha Who is a wonderful show and so much better than According Jim. Give it a whole season and Pushing Daisies why you are at it.

Actually this show is hilarious. She’s fantastic. It would have made a very cute movie also.

Hilarious??? I’m sorry. But I do not find this show “hilarious” like some are saying. I’m just not seeing it. The show is just ok for me…there are definitely better shows.

this is one of the smartest most brilliantly casted and acted sitcom. to call jennifer’s performance over acting is like accusing the sun of being too hot – her role is SUPPOSED to be over the top! and christina has such an awesome balance of emotional and physical comedy it’s a delight to watch. not to mention jean smart! she plays the mom with just enough heart and humour to the dad’s stoic foil that it makes them one of the funniest tv parents (though getting deservedly enough screen time)

Samantha Who is average at best. The only reason ABC is giving it a whole season is because most of their shows are performing poorly.

My wife and I look forward to this show every week. It is our 2nd-favorite show after 30 Rock. Very well written and performed. Christina Applegate is the modern Lucille Ball! And the rest of the cast is perfect — a good mix of crazy!

  • Amanda

Yay! I am so glad. They have such a great cast. I started watching only to see “Sookie” from Gilmore Girls and ended up really liking the show.
I am still bugged that he didn’t help Samantha sound out words that started with “Pro” to help her jog her memory. Eek. but then there wouldn’t be much of a show.

UGH, what about Pushing Daisies? What about Pushing Daisies?

  • Mary

Argh! I am excited for the fans of Samantha Who. But what about Pushing Daisies? Can’t they renew two great shows at the same time?

  • Zet

It’s a great show–funny and quirky. A relief not to watch a sitcom based on chronic miscommunication. Great writing and the best cast!

  • Cleo

I’m so glad to hear this – my daughter and I watch together every week! I can’t tell you how many interactions between Sam and her mother echo my daughter and I. I even dreamed about Samuel L Jackson before Regina did. Too funny. Here’s to more Samantha Who and more Christina Applegate!

This show is insanely funny. Jean Smart and Jennifer Esposito are the best. I absolutely love these two characters. Jennifer’s character is supposed to be over the top, shallow and vain and she is dead on. Jean Smart is well..genius! I also like Christina, I loved her in Married with Children, to me she will always be Kelly Bundy.

  • Brad L. Wooldridge

    I don’t watch this show.
