Although, I miss my S1 Heroes, Pushing Daisies is, by far, the best show on TV this season. I wish ABC would try to promote it some more. Hell, it’s even better than most of the stuff on HBO / Showtime these days. Don’t give up on it ABC, unless you want NBC to poach your best writer.
ya know, pushing daisies ain’t dead yet. there’s 13 eps to air and they just sent out like ep 7. that’s 6 more episodes to rally the troops and send the world out like wildfire. message boards, email lists, blogs, twitter, beebo, myspace, facebook, youtube. there are tons of ways to reach folks and get them to watch and more importantly to tell others to watch and tell others. if it goes out fast and far enough a few of those sacred ratings folks might join the viewership, ratings go up and ABC reconsiders. although it would have to happen like this very next week. so get talking.
If ABC gives up on Daisies, then I give up on Heroes. I know I am just one person, but I watch both shows and I am in love with Daisies and I find it so off putting that one of the executive producers already seems to be lining up a gig if this show doesn’t make it. If he can’t stand behind his own project on ABC, I am less than thrilled to follow him back to another show. He should do us all a favor and support the show HE IS WORKING ON NOW-Pushing Daisies and stop pimping for his next job. It’s tacky. Pushing Daisies is such a great show, it deserves not only the fans full support, but ABC’s as well.
Heroes does need help and the only way PD will stay on the air, regardless of its high quality, is by increasing its ratings. If that doesn’t happen in the next few weeks there is nothing PD’s fans can do but mourn. It isn’t called show business for nothing.
Dammit, to cancel Daisies is a crime against all that is good!
Although if it must, nice for Fuller to have options.
Pushing daisies is by far more enjoyable to watch then both Heroes and Lost. Those two shows have become unwatchable since thier first seasons.
NBC listen up — instead of renewing the awful Kath and Kim and less awful Knight Rider — pick up Pushing Daisies if ABC does not.
Daisies jumped the shark in the second episode. Boring and predictable with no real excitement.
Nothing is going to save “Heroes”. This show has been bad from the start, it is the fault of the creators. If you are not a comic book fan then why make a comic book TV series? People are jumping off of this Titanic left and right and I can’t wait till it gets canceled. You heard that, canceled, so something good can take it’s place on TV and pop culture.
Fuller is brilliant, I don’t think that’s up for debate at this point. It would hurt to see Daisies go, but God I’d love to see Heroes reach its full potential again! How about firing Tim Kring, too? Fire sale on hacks!
Jesse,
Doesn’t everyone deserve to look for a new job. He’s filming the final episode now and was offered a job – wouldn’t you want to be sure you didn’t go hungry? He’s not going out, it came to him and he said “Sure why not, if I don’t have a job” He’s filming the final episode now.
Heroes rock! Everyone Lighten up. It’s just TV.
I love Pushing Daisies, honestly, but if there is even the remotest possibility of this actually happening, I will drop it in a heartbeat. In fact, done, consider it dropped.
I will be incredibly sad if Pushing Daisis is cancelled! From most of the other comments, I can see i am not the only one! It is amazing! I don’t understand how 6 mill. is not enough! THat will be 6 million people ABC will get upset!
PLEASE DON’T CANCEL! I used to really be into Heroes but I don’t feel like it is all that interesting anymore! Sorry! SO, Bryan Fuller, please stay and help Pushing Daisies- it is such a cute, intelligent, wonderful show! Please! PLEASE!
YES! Please let this happen! Never seen an episode of Pushing Daisies and have no desire to, but I love Heroes and would give anything to see it return to season one form.
And to the whining Daisies fans, push off. Shows get canceled all the time, even good ones. Deal with it. And we had Fuller first, after all.
