Charlie Crews may not know who framed him, but he’s got at least nine more episodes to figure it out: NBC has picked up the detective drama Life for the rest of the season, giving the series a full slate of 22 episodes for the 2008-9 campaign. (The network ordered six additional scripts a few weeks ago, so there shouldn’t be any lag in production.) The critically respected yet modestly rated Life — averaging a little more than six million viewers this season — moved from Fridays at 10 p.m. to Wednesdays at 9 p.m. this week. — Additional reporting by Lynette Rice

Yeah! I love this show. And its first week at Weds, the ratings were higher than for the previous ep .. so hopefully that trend continues …

I’m so happy about this! My only concern is about next January, when Lost debuts at the same time as Life. Maybe I’ll ask for a dvr for Christmas…

I am so happy about this. I’ve been dvring it b/c I usually cannot watch any of my shows so maybe that is helping. I pray enough people find this show now that it is on Wednesdays.

    The highest emotion.
    In a winding
    road you can
    find the light
    of a barrier, and
    always, when
    you try to
    forget her, a
    lovely emotion
    discovers in sips
    a delicate candle.

If you haven’t watched Life, you are missing out. It is lovely fun with flawed quirky characters.

excellent. i had no idea it didn’t have a full season in the first place. who’s really, really enjoying donal logue as the new captain? what a great addition.

NBC has hit rock bottom. They are keeping all their low-rated shows because they have nothing else left…Life, Kath & Kim (worst show EVER), and next will probably be Lipstick Jungle (yippee for the 3 million people who watch that show). Ben Silverman needs to be fired. He’s ruined that network.

I love Life; however, I do not like the new captain. Please remove him,

This is terrific news!I really, really love this show.

Ilove this show… but do NOT get the addition of Donal Logue to the cast. Getting rid of the old captain to be replaced by him made no sense. That and… they did not need another quirly character on the show – it’s not a DAVID E KELLY prodiction.

Wow, some prayers do get answered. This is such a well written and acted show. I’m so glad NBC realizes what it has. Now, maybe it’ll stop shuffling it’s timeslot around!!!!
