It’s the news we’ve been waiting for, Privileged fans.
In what amounts to a major vote of confidence, The CW has ordered five additional episodes of Rina Mimoun’s increasingly addictive Tuesday night drama. What’s more, the net is temporarily giving the ratings-challenged (and People’s Choice nominated) show one of its most coveted time slots: Mondays at 9 p.m. after Gossip Girl.
On Dec. 1 and 8, Privileged will air behind original episodes of Gossip Girl, replacing previously scheduled One Tree Hill repeats. Those two Privileged eps will then be rebroadcast in the show’s usual time slot, Tuesdays at 9 pm.
Season to date, Privileged has averaged a so-so 2.1 rating among women 18 to 34, its target demo.
In light of the Monday experiment and the five-episode pickup, The CW clearly feels the show has the potential to grow. I think I speak for many an Aushole when I say, thanks for that, CW.
Privileged is a great show. And lets face it, the CW has horrible ratings anyway. 2.1 million is average for them.

First, I love Privileged, this is amazing news! Second, a 2.1 rating among women 18-34 does not mean it got 2.1 million viewers, Privileged probably have an even lower viewers average. It means Privileged approximately attracts 2.1% of the women between 18-34.

LOVE Priviledged! Last nights episode gave me the kiss Ive been waiting for. Every week the show gets better and better, the only thing that sucks is the writing is so clever it reminds me of Gilmore and how I miss that show.
I think moving it to Monday for December will bring in some more followers, what if it’s really popular on Mondays will they move OTH??

…this year…all there main shows (except friday) are over 3 million viewers…still not great, but definitely a large increase from last year!

I’m enjoying this show and happy for the extra episodes, but there is NO way I can compare it to the classic Gilmore Girls. There will never be a better show than Gilmore Girls.
