'Real Housewives of Atlanta': Season 2 is on deck

Housewivesatlanta_l
Prepare for more drama between NeNe and Kim! Bravo just revealed to EW.com exclusively that the network has picked up season 2 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. It’s no surprise, really, considering that the Atlanta edition of Real Housewives was the franchise’s most successful. Far above and beyond the New York and franchise-original Orange County editions, The Real Housewives of Atlanta was the network’s first docu-drama ever to crack 2 million viewers in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demo for one episode. Overall, the series averaged 1.5 million viewers, and the reunion special reached even higher heights, becoming the highest-rated Real Housewives telecast ever with 2.8 million viewers. No word yet on when season 2 will premiere or if all five ladies will be returning, but we’ll keep you posted with any details we uncover.

YES! It’s call cuz of Nene! Team Nene!!!

  • JohnO

NeNe is the only real one on the show. The rest of the ladies are full of themselves.

  • Shari

yes!!! TEAM NENE IN THE HOUSE! I’d be shocked if Deshawn came back because she seemed both incredibly bored, embarrassed and borING in the reunion special. As long as NeNe and Lisa are back, I’m okay.

  • B-

Best ever: “You’s a low budget B****! you have NO CLASS!” LMAO. I love NeNe. She’s crazy.

Someone please tell Kim that she shows more white trash than I’ve seen on CMT, and she can’t sing. Her bucket has a hole it and leaking sour notes here and back. Stay home with Big Pappa (EWWWWW), if he’s paying for that, he’s not loaded unless it’s with booze. The rest are fun to watch!

ATL housewives was successful because they brought the drama and fell into the stereotype of what to expect from black women. I stilled watched it LMAO. Can a hair stylist please hook KIm up with some extensions so she can get rid of that wig? What a disgrace to SWF everywhere.

  • Parg

Oh what a guilty pleasure this show was! Love NeNe! I hope they all of the original cast members back!

  • David

This show is crap, as are shows like it. I’m an Atlanta native and these women are a terrible and horribly inaccurate representation of women in Atlanta, married or single. And it’s not just insulting to Atlanta women, but to the city as well.

As long as Kim’s wig signs on for season 2 then I’m down!!!!!!

i love it!! i love nene and kim and i LOVED bonnie hunt’s parody of them. W/this new season on deck, that means my friend and i have our halloween costumes for next year!! and i hope sheree comes back too.

  • Fab

I love Nene. She keeps it real and doesn’t beat around the bush. Can’t wait for season 2.

  • Mike

I hate NeNe. She’s just ghetto, and I’ll be happy if she’s not in the show. UNLESS her being evicted from her house is on there.

  • A.Williams

Excited about Season 2: I wonder if Nene will be back due to all the news coverage of her actually being the fakest house wife of them all even though people say she kept it REAL. Sure she did! I now understand why when Kim & Sheree where in the spa they said, “Just have what you say you have”. Then Sharee in the Reunion Special telling Nene that she could have said awhole lot worse.
