Now, seriously, is there another doctor at the hospital as troublesome and demanding as House? (And I say that with all the affection in the world!) Cameron knows him, and despite what some tend to think, she can say no to him. Foreman’s likely still busy with the drug trials; and to bring someone in that’s not used to working with House… that’s just a mess waiting to happen! (Though I suppose it could be funny.) Give the writers a little credit. They’ve gotten a lot of flack lately. I’m actually not a House/Cuddy fan, but even that arc/relationship needed to be explored, I think. (Though, seriously, enough with Thirteen. Aaaahhhh!!!) Anywho, back on topic: Cameron taking over? I’m sure it’s temporary, but I’m looking forward to it nonetheless! Maybe there will be some good House/Cameron moments! (Plus, didn’t Ausiello hint before that she might not accept? Hmmmm….)

I so wish House would go back to focusing on the medical mysteries, ethical dilemmas, sharply written humor and character exploration that we got in seasons 1-3, instead of what it is now – an overstaffed soap opera wannabe with underused original cast members and over the top slapsticky humor.
What’s the most mystifying to me is the writers think that fans like the changes since season 3 ended. Sure the ratings may still be good, but do they honestly read the fan comments on the internet about the overuse of 13 and think that the fans who loved the first 3 seasons are happy? Oh, come on! It’s the medical mysteries and the nuances of House’s character that make the show special and unique and a hit, not this weirdo mishmash of Grey’s Anatomy and Scrubs it’s turning into. And this latest spoiler: WTF? It’s bad enough that Chase and Cameron are hardly ever on the show now (I’ll bet Morrison and Spencer are pissed about that) but now they’re cutting down Cuddy, too? Argh!

silentsnark, agreed. Lisa Edelstein is just… gorgeous. JM is very cute… but doesn’t hold a candle to LE.

Ugh. I like Cam, but I love Cuddy and don’t want anyone else doing her job. I hope it’s a short arc that makes House truly appreciate Cuddy as Dean and maybe makes Cam stop mooning over House and realize how awesome Chase really is. Cam as Dean for long term would just not be as fun. I’m really enjoying the co-consulations she and Chase are doing. It’s cute and entertaining.

YES!! Thanks for the wonderful news about Cameron – I can go back to watching House now, at least until they start ignoring her again. Cuddy is so over the top and overrated.

One more thing: In season two, when Foreman was asked to temporarily oversee the department, Cameron was upset that Cuddy didn’t ask her. I think it was Chase that questioned whether she could say no to House. But, again, she has shown that she can. And now, Cuddy asks her to (at least temporarily?) take over her job. It is an interesting power shift, of sorts, and I’m sure it will be entertaining. Let’s not be too upset about it until we see how it works out! : )

i’m a hugely massive cuddy fan (like, obsessively) but honestly i think this could work out well. as long as we still get cuddy, i’m happy. who cares if its in the administrator’s office or the baby’s nursery? also, i’m curious to see how cameron would handle the job. i’m thinking she’d probably turn out just like cuddy. those girls like to follow the rules haha.

    a) I like Cameron better than Thirteen and would like to see more of the original ducklings on a consistent basis.
    b) Cameron is hot without having to get her shirts from HookerMart; Cuddy’s wardrobe is an insult to serious professional women everywhere.
    c) Foreteen has no chemistry at all, except perhaps for their lab results.
This started out as a great show, but the writers go off on these bizarre story arcs: Tritter, “Survivor Princeton-Plainsboro,” and now the Cameron/Cuddy thing. It’s very close (again) to losing its must-see standing, imho.

[whispers]I really don’t care for Annie, and she’s too mean to you. Do you think you could help get her another assignment?[/whispers]

wait…how did annie get out of the closet? last i remember you hog-tied her and locked her in there.

  • bruno

    i heart annie. so much…
    F#$K that smurf.
(dear cameron: put the peroxide DOWN.)

  • Emma

    I miss CHASE!!!

  • Janie

    AGREED. BRING BACK CHASE!!!! <3

Cameron, at last! I love you, please come back. I suspect this is temporary, but still this ROCKS! CAMERON!!!!!!
p.s. Cuddy’s hair does not looks good.

  • Alexis

WHAT THE HELL!? IS THIS SERIOUS CAMERON AS A DEAN OF MEDICINE? I HONESTLY DON’T THINK SHE’S GOING TO BE ABLE TO HANDLE IT. CUDDY IS A STRONG WOMAN ON THE OTHER HAND CAMERON LOVES SICK PUPPIES? HOPE THIS DOESN’T LAST LONG.
