Now that the anemic Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles and Prison Break have moved time slots, Fox’s Monday nights are actually a force to be reckoned with. House debuted in its new 8 p.m. spot to a very strong 14.9 million viewers. Meanwhile, its lead-out, 24, only dropped about 200,000 viewers from the previous week. Most surprising, though, was the rise of The Bachelor and fall of Gossip Girl. ABC’s reality dating series added almost a million watchers to its 9.1 million from last week, while The CW’s teen soap dipped to a mere 2.2 million, a drop of 700,000 from its last installment.

I also like that House is on Monday, it conflicted with a show on Tuesdays for me. Just to be clear 13-it is called car wax, not metal polish geez…

In your drubbing of Terminator: TSCC, you fail to mention that it was up against Dancing With the Stars and MNF. I’m sure House’s numbers would be a lot different if those programs were currently on Mondays now.
Fox should’ve moved Terminator: TSCC to another night instead of giving it the kiss of death on Friday. It’s a great show that deserves more.
Good Lord, the American Idol Popwatch is up ONE THE SAME NIGHT IT AIRED! Where is House!
Glad to see I’m not the only one wondering where in the world the House recap is… they’ve posted the recaps for much lower rated shows already and got the Idol recap posted THE SAME NIGHT IT AIRED, as others have pointed out. On a side note, I’m a huge fan of Lost, but the ad popping up constantly on the home page is extremely annoying.
I also would like the recap of House!! It was a good episode!
Intelligent, quality entertainment? Really, House fans? I’m pretty sure EW doesn’t do a House recap because the writers don’t want to be subjected to writing this over and over again: “On tonight’s episode of House, a patient came in with a small unassuming illness, then House said something sarcastic, then the patient started vomiting uncontrollably. All the young pretty doctors didn’t know why, the patient almost dies, but at the last moment, House says something sarcastic that reminds him of the perfect cure. END”
