Thanks for the scoop, Mr. Ausiello. Has it been 9 months since this dude was last seen on TV? Jeez, I didn’t know that. :P

  • Tiebaojin

Hopefully it is not just “a bone”, and we will all be able to watch him on a weekly series of his own very soon. He has been sorely missed.

  • Allegrita

Great news. He’s an excellent actor and I know he’ll give the role his all. Now he needs a show of his own…a really interesting one. I wish him the best.

  • Overdamoon

I hope I don’t sound too greedy but.. Any scoop on his new show where he gets to be the leeeead? ;P

  • dimwitte

It’s about bloody time! I’ve been waiting (im)patiently to see him on a screen near me for much too long. I agree that he needs his own show, but for right now, I’m SO there!

  • Dreamer

Really great news! He makes a great serial killer does Alex…looking forward to when he is the lead in his own show again too.

Good to have news about Alex. I have never watch criminal minds but will watch the episode with Alex. Hope he will have his own series soon. I too miss Moonlight.

I’m so overjoyed to have Alex back, even it it isn’t on our sorely missed Moonlight. Criminal Minds is not something I’ve ever watched but will make an exception for Alex. I still can’t believe that CBS didn’t change their minds and return Moonlight to us with all the attention being lavished on the vampire theme at the moment, not least Twilight. The puplic love Twilight just as they loved Moonlight and having to wait until November for New Moon, would mean that Moonlight would be a very welcome (returning) addition to that popular and addictive fanbased following, even for Twilight fans/viewers not previously familiar with Moonlight.

    God he’s beautiful!

  • Nic.

I really miss Moonlight and I cannot wait for Alex to have his own show again. Never watched Criminal Minds, but now I have a mind to do so!

It was way too long overdue! I am soooo happy to hear this. CBS needs to know that his fans will always support Alex in whatever role. However, we would like to remind CBS that we fell in love with Alex on Moonlight. Why did they cancelled this with the current and increasing interest with vampires? Wake up CBS!

My wife loves him and is so happy about this but until April she’ll be watching Moonlight re-runs on the SCI-FI channel Friday nights.

Alex has the talent to have his own show and he deserves it. But I am intrigued to see what his talent brings to a serial killer row.

  • Pinkiepie

I’m in front of my TV now!!!! Anything to see that hunky talented actor on my TV screen again, even if it’s for one episode is worth it.
Can’t wait until he has his own series again but I will for sure be watching Criminal Minds!!Thank you!!
    Thud!!!

Never seen Alex O’Loughlin , so I have no opinion on him. But, my goodness, haven’t we already had this episode? It was called “True Night” and Frankie Muniz was the actor who took over the show and made the main cast guest stars on their own show. I really don’t need another show from the unsub’s point of view where they spend more time with him instead of the team, the actual stars. Maybe they’ll find a way to balance it out better. Otherwise, the only good thing I can think of with the episode is maybe the cast will find some amusements to keep them occupied for all the time they don’t have anything to do in front of the camera.
