This is worse than the time they made that doofy site over at thegrouphang.com
Even if it was a paid product placement it was pretty funny how blatant it was. The fact that it wasn’t paid made it even funnier. I’m sure McD’s doesn’t mind the promotion.
F U bloggers, first you praise the genius of Tina Fey then you trashed, you don’t have any etics.
Tina you f**in rocks!!!
If it was or if it wasn’t ,so what?!
I think it’s pretty awesome it wasn’t pp – it certainly made me want a McFlurry. Or should I say Senor Flurry? Hilarious that Tina had to release a statement!
She’s not telling the whole story. They would still need legal clearance to go film at the McDonald’s and show their products. She says they weren’t paid, but she didn’t say there wasn’t another kind of compensation. Half-truths are still dishonest, Tina.
I agree with DS9Sisko. Its nothing new. And it was quite funny.
For a non-advertisement, it was pretty effective. I couldn’t stop thinking about having a McFlurry all day!
I was furious about this and the iPhones who kept popping all over the show.
“I only date guys who drink Snapple”
I am a member in a comedy entertainment site,it has lots of features.

Is it weird that I’ve craved neither a McFlurry nor an iPhone after watching the episode not once but twice? Actually, I don’t know if I’ve ever had a McFlurry…I guess it’s hard to crave something you’ve never tried. Oh well, I’ve got enough favorite desserts already.
I knew it wasn’t her on twitter!! Didn’t sound very Tina Fey, I think.
And the McDonald’s thing was pretty funny.Kind of like the guy in the Snapples costume, the writers drinking Snapples and the Verizon “Ok can we get our money now?” thing.
The same joke was used in the 2nd or 3rd season of Arrested Development with Burger King. Except, I think there it was actually their own product placement they were satirizing.
Tina , they should name the drink McHypocracy -you’re no better than Sarah Palin you creepy liar.
