Ratings: 'The Bachelor' hits a season high on Monday

Tags:

ABC’s The Bachelor is on a roll! The reality romance competition continues to grow weekly, with last night’s installment reaching 12.5 million, its highest audience so far this season. While most other network series are plummeting in the ratings (hello Heroes!), The Bachelor is seeing an increase in viewership. The rise in eyes also helped the Tyra Banks/Ashton Kutcher series, True Beauty, hit its highest ratings since its premiere, with 7.1 million.

C’mon Chuck, come back for a third season!

Heroes continues to suck this season, I am not surprised it dropped once again!

Must be Monday, EW is going out of there way to take shots at Heroes.
No mention of the series-low for Lost on Wednesday? Or how Chuck about a million viewers since it’s last episode aired? Nope, just Heroes which lost all of 100K.

Heroes has been so dissapointing this season– They should just cancel it and leave us with the fading memory of how amazing and fresh the first season was. Many of my friends have stopped watching it, and i am planning on stopping soon as well. Shame on you NBC, if teh story is bad that’s one thing, but get a script that doesn’t drool with cliches and corny lines and actors who know how to actually act( omg milo is awful… and so is hayden) it’s laughable. Take a break, get your act together, and stop giving us this bad T.V– it’s clear by the ratings that there is a problem. And EW focuses on Heroes so much becasue they used to be in love with it before it went bad, it was like their favorite show. LOST is different.. First off, amazing season, and second off ratings didn’t tumble last week, they’ve been very steady. 24 I think is getting all the heroes viewers who have given up.

I like Heroes but I think its in a tough spot going up against 24 and WWE wrestling which are all basically fighting for the same demographic.

Bradd Bradd, you made some excellent observations. Two weeks ago Heroes was so bad you would have thought the writers totally bailed and turned it into a comedy. Seriously, I laughed so hard at the times when things were supposed to make me feel the exact opposite, I was actually embarrassed for the actors. And as you noted LOST continues one of the most amazing storytelling seasons I have ever seen for any show- EVER! You can ask any of the 3000 people who saw the episode and blogged on the EW website or you can go to the actual LOST website and chat with the millions of LOSTIES who are still raving about the last episode. That said, can you believe the stratosphere the Bachelor ratings are soaring into? I bet no one thought that the Bachelor and True Beauty would become such a deadly combo. (LOL)
