Either Shonda Rhimes is getting sloppy or she’s trying to put me out of a job! In a just-released logline for Grey’s Anatomy‘s March 12 Read the full post.

Slow news on Derek and Meredith much Ausielllo? First you get the no so “unexpected” quote to Mer/Der’s future from last week’s writers blog which if you had read the ENTIRE quote sas actually filled with positive words about what to expect (nto negative or uncertain as you wnat to spin it), now you are quoting from a press release? Ausiello, WHERE ARE YOUR REAL GA SOURCES? PD is not leaving, he’s already said that publicly numerous times, Derek and Meredith (please see TV Guide) says that Derek will be dark but Meredith will be strong and will stick by him. Why not quote from Rhimes who already tells us, Mer is standing by Derek. Now you are just silly in your attempt to find something on Mer/Der or have no source or both. But to give us info we already have and try to make it seem “spoiler-ish” is just dumb. If you don’t have a real spoiler to give us, then don’t, but please stop giving us things we’ve read days ago and trying to spin the.

Sounds like just another stupid plotline. Why would he learn this at a deposition? How could a doctor not realize that more of his patients have died than survived?

  • DEB

Again, to Helen, it’s tv not real life!!! Get it? Be a kid again, enjoy!

He may quit but will be back and M/D will be engaged by the time the season ends-probably married. The M/D relationship is one of the very few things critics have LIKED this season and after 5 years of waiting, it’s doubtful that Derek will stay dark and less chance of a wedge of any kind in the M/D relationship.

slow scoops day you’re going to reread the press release? first the writers blog and now this?

  • Spoiler Alert

Attention: Spolier Alert. Patrick Demsey did not have his Grey’s contract renewed and is set to star in a new ABC show in the fall of 2009. Needless to say, this will be his last season on Grey’s.

how can george have been with dr. grey, dr. torres, dr. stevens, the nurse from season 1, and go know who ever else if he is gay? is he bi?

  • P

If Patric Demsey leaves along with T.R Knight there will be no reason to watch as the essential chemestry which makes the show run will be gone.

  • amjs

Okay, HOW is this news?! Let alone, news with a link on the CNN website?? Ooooooo, Grey’s Anatomy producers are “revealing” that McDreamy is quitting?? It should be obvious (even to the braindead) that this is only a ploy to get viewers. Patrick Dempsey’s career is dead if he leaves this show. He’ll be clinging to it until it gets cancelled – which hopefully will be soon.

GA jumped the shark this year – the final straw being the prolonged Izzy/Denny thing.

  • buster jones

i hope jack bauer goes into seattle grace and kills dr. yang with an ice pick in her eye…then ravages her dead corpse in front of dr. hunt…then i hope he continues on and kills mc dreamy with an q-tip

Logline = TV word for a summary sentence of the plot for an episode.

  • KR

if Dempsey leaves it’ll ruin the show completely, Mer/Der is the only thing decent on the show anymore. If Heigl, Knight and Dempsey leave that’s almost half the cast and none of the new people are any good except Lexi.

  • Bryan

Very dark, Buster Jones. Very dark and disturbing. But, I do wish Heigl would go ahead and leave…
