Shame on ABC! I’ll bet my last dime their ratings for The Bachelor won’t be so high ever again. This viewer is OUT!

Been a viewer since first season, and I’ve learned that these rarely work out. Still, this is the last season, and I am beginning tonight, not interested in an update on this couple. No more for me. I am actually ashamed I watched last night, but I really didn’t believe they would go that far.

I am completely ashamed of myself for watching this. Abc originally hooked me because Jason seemed like a nice guy but this finale was disgusting. I will NEVER watch The Bachelor or Bachelorette again.

Is this guy smarmy or what? The adults all knew what they signed up for, but where would a decent, upstanding Dad of a three year old go to find a life-long parter? Why, a cheesy reality show, of course! That poor kid, with a father like that! I hope he and fellow jerk Molly will be miserable together. Melissa is better off without him.

So that’s life! Would it have been more nobel for him to go thru with the marriage, knowing he had feelings for another … later get a divorce or just have an affair? How about what that little boy would go thru.

heroes showing that it still really really sucks!

What’s the big deal? Yeah he broke Melissa’s heart, but it was a hard decision to make and he was happy with her, but then things changed. He didn’t want to live life with regrets. Just a shame he didn’t realize it earlier. I honestly really don’t understand why people are getting this furious with the show and Jason. I am happy for him and Molly.
And as for Melissa.. things happen. People break up in much worse situations, such as being with someone for over 6 months (or however long they were with each other for) She will find someone else and move on. That’s life.

Jason said in one of his interviews that once the cameras weren’t rolling, the chemisty changed. How do we know that Melissa didn’t turn out to be a real psycho after the cameras went off? Maybe he’s just protecting her and taking the heat himself?!?!?! Did anyone pull their head out from the sand long enough to ponder that? Obviously not!

  • ds

How can you fall for it all?

  • sarah schwartz

I lost total respect fot the show… jason is an ass hole, I will never watch this show again!!!!!

  • ds

Thank you, Sarah Schwartz, I totally agree.

  • Mom

OMG Has anyone ever made a mistake and feel for 2 people????? COME ON people!!! We saw how he felt when Molly left in the limo. It was if he realized then that he made a mistake and that she took a part of him with her. Its MUCH better now than if her would have married poor Melissa. I feel bad for Melissa but love is a REAL emotion and what was happening was real. He went on there for find love. Lets give him some credit for at least trying to making it work and then finally being honest with Melissa, Molly and most of all himself. I say Good Luck Jason!!!!

  • wannalala

Jason is the most bastardly character I feel I have ever viewed. If he wanted to break up with Melissa then ok, but to do it on National television and literally 5 minutes later start something with Molly? Should abc really be advocating this behavior? I think not. Maybe he should have chosen neither of them, he’s such a lying sack of crap, and I am eternally disappointed in the show, and in Jason. And for Molly, she’s just dumb. Why would you ever choose to trust someone who did something like that? I know I wouldn’t. But maybe she deserves it.

  • ds

Oh, hell, come on, Mom! Can’t you see how produced that was? Stop being so dumb! And Wannalala, I agree with your observations of Jason, but, come on, abc not only advocated it, but had a HUGE hand in creating it! This show is impeccably produced, and this smarmy, cheesy jerk dad Jason went right along with it! Come on, people, get with the program!
