sweet! ryan cracks me up! so cool. he’s also has another movie coming out – SHERMAN’S WAY – it is playing in NYC and opens in LA next weekend (also has Lacey Chabert in it! – HOT).
Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz…who cares about the original or the spin-off? So now we’ll have two so-so shows instead of one good one? BAD MOVE!

Dick character in Veronica Mars was greatness. Then again most characters were…
Yes, the cast is superb. However, I still say it is lame to spin off GG with a focus on the past. The story of young Lily/Rufus could certainly be tied up in a few flashbacks on an episode of GG. We already know where their story went. There’s no angle here. If they must spin off, then do so with current characters and stories.
This is a great cast. But like people said, I don’t really see the point in this spin off. The reason people become invested in a show is to find out the ending. They root for the couples they want to get together. But we already know how this ends.
I agree with the people that said they should just focus on Gossip Girl.
I wonder what Andrew McCarthy’s character will think when Lily tells him she’s going to see movies like St. Elmo’s Fire or Pretty In Pink. And what is he doing here, anyway? I thought the new NBC president denied reports that Lipstick Jungle is cancelled – he just got back with Victory!
Wow Michael you almost had me, thanks to your headline I thought maybe some TV stars were going to be cast in the MTV remake of Rocky Horror Picture Show that was teased to us last summer! Bummer, has anyone heard anything on that?
