Fox’s American Idol won Thursday evening with its wild card episode, drawing 21.2 million viewers, an uptick from the audience for last week’s results show. Competing against Idol at 8 p.m., CBS’ Survivor managed to hold onto most of its viewers from last week, drawing 12 million pairs of eyeballs. At 9 p.m., the Eye’s CSI dominated with 21 million watchers, making it a close No. 2 on the night. The stalwart procedural gained 3.2 million viewers from last week’s new episode. And for the second week in a row, ER gained viewers, as did its rival at 10 p.m., CBS’s Eleventh Hour.
