It’s kind of frustrating how people don’t even read the article they are replying to. I see a lot of “Clark will die and then come back!!” posts, but as clearly stated in this article, BOTH DEATHS WILL STICK.
I don’t understand why people think Lois, Lana, Lex, etc can die. They can’t. They’re part of Clark’s life when he becomes Superman.
This is who CANNOT die: Clark, Lana, Lois, Lex, Martian Manhunter, Jimmy, Perry White, Martha, Kara, Oliver Queen, Cyborg, Flash/Impulse, Aquaman, Kara, anyone part of the JLA.
That leaves Chloe, Tess and Davis.
This article says “One is a Smallville vet, one isn’t”. Chloe is the only one who can die that is a vetern of the show. I get that you people like Chloe, but come on! Let’s not be idiots here. She’s dying whether you like it or not. There’s no one else who CAN die.
Personally, I loved Smallville. But I stopped watching once it became Chloe-ville. I will happily watch the finale to see her die, so the show can continue.

k so here is what we know:
    1. There are TWO people dying
    2. ONE is a VET the other not so much and one is MALE
    3. LOIS and CLARK are coming back for sure according to E Online or TV Guide
I love CHLOE and if she dies i won’t be the most dedicated SMALLVILLE fan like i have been. And it is true ratings go up when Allison Mack is in the episode not to say ED isn’t AMAZING

  • Nic

OOps sorry Mandy..You are wrong..Chloe is signed up for season 10!!
    haaaaaaa
Don’t know who is going..But i for one sure hope it is either one of those Losers Lois or Jimmy..And Yea..I know..But the show is called Smallville..!!
    haaaaaaaaaaaa

Well, I certainly don’t know who dies in the finale, but I do know one thing. I absolutely despise ED’s portrayal of Lois Lane. If they won’t kill her (please!) maybe they can ship her character off to college to take a much needed ethics class next year. Remember the “Stiletto” fiasco?

  • smvl fan

i tink Lana(the vet) and davis gonna bite the dust! davis will die and doomsday will live and d death of lana will supply clark with the anger he needs to defeat doomsday(4 now)
and personally i fine ED depicts the character of Lois extremely well and theres not a chance in hell that dey killin her off.

  • wah?

Erica is def not a fake Lois, and def not borin i crack up in every epi dat shes in. dey will not kill her off and i hope to God dey doh kill Chloe off either. Kill that(fill in blanks) Lana off fuh real!!!! She def qualifies as a vet begone!! LANA LANG be gone!

There is speculation that Jummy will die as Oliver and Chloe are alive for a funeral… I don’t think that this can be the case as Jimmy is very much part of the Superman lore and can’t be killed off really before the coming of the man in blue tights. There could be a death of someone of the JLA (I think Bart/Impulse) because there has been more than one “Flash” in the DC Universe. As fior the second death… still got no ideas… people reckon Tess… I am not too sure… as for who might be coming back, again I don’t know… the trailer showed a Zod symbol… I don’t think Micheal Rosenbaum as Lex… I think it might be Micheal McKean as Perry White (the spoliers never said it was a main cast member) and that might allow his real life wife (Annette O’Toole) to make some additional appearences as Martha Kent. Anyway… only 2 days to go till we know who stays and who goes! Any people don’t be so harsh on ED as Lois Lane… she isn’t that bad you know!

  • liz

Erica Durance isn’t bad, the character of Lois Lane is bad as written. Lois would never act like the writers have her acting. They need to strengthen the character and stop writing her as self-absorbed, whiny and self serving. When Lois was first on the show, she was great. Write her like that again and everyone will be happy she stays. Also, they should not kill off Chloe, she is Clark’s friend and he needs those people too. Just an opinion.

  • Devitt Logan

Lois is a part of the Superman mythos, Chloe isn’t. If she dies in the episode, she could be seen in flashbacks in Season Nine. If a character isn’t a part of the mythos, then it makes perfect sense to kill them off, no disrespect to Allison Mack, she’s a wonderful actress.

I am curious if so of you have even seen the Christpher Reeves superman movies or read the comics. the writers are portrying lois like she is. Now maybe you have only been exposed to the WB cartoon superman where Lois Lane is the loving supporting girlfriend but in reality she is not the nicest of people and erica d. portrays her very well. Also there will be no Chloe-clark romance don’t be stupid. Now while chole is the logical person the killoff according to the mythology her popularity makes that unlikly considering they had to pay her more money to make sure she came back. Now it is an almost certainty that Doomsday will die, while yes he can’t stay dead them calling him dead might simply mean that he won’t be coming back. Intailly I thought it would be both Tess and Doomsday but as it says one is vet and they don’t quilify, in my mind anyways. I believe the other death to be a recurring character not a regular, probably and sadly Bart/the flash

Dudes, they could kill the red blue blur and then bring out superman

  • liz

    Killer season finale!

  • Nic

Let me 1st say..I called it awhile back..Jimmy taking the big chill..lol
Well all i can say is..Fake Lois is next!!
Thank you writers..But i would have rather The fake Lois to die 1st!!
But i will take hat we got..haaaaa
Bon Voyage Fake Lois.. Hopefully you are on your way out..lol

  • Nic

i think people need to read the interview by the guy who played jimmy Olsen..He makes hints!!!
I think the writers are getting ready to make Chloe the real Lois Lane..YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Well i hope i am not full of SH*t!!
haaaa..But he was very direct when he talked about Clark and Chloe..not Clark and Lois..
But he talked about Chloe and Clark. How they have an amazing chemistry and that they have a huge fan base!!
    haaa
How they work well together..hummmm funny he didn’t mention the Fake Lois…at all…Premonition..Finally the writers are dusting off the blue prints and ready to rock and roll with revealing the real Lois Lane aka Chloe!!
I for one can’t wait..It is about time..
    Writers did a Great job!!
Finally will the real LOIS LANE AKA CHLOE emerge in season 9!!

  • biggle

Je pense Jimmy and Davis are going to die. I rreeaaally want Chloe to get with Clark. REALLY REALLY want her too. Lois would have gone really well with Early-Seasons Lex.
