The suits at CBS are unbelievable! Even considering canceling the 2 best shows they have is without merit. Those are my absolute favorite shows. But of course all they can think about is how much money they can stuff in their wallets. Viewer loyalty means nothing to these people.
I just read that Without a Trace has been canceled! I would really like to see cable pick it up. And to see the major networks lose all of their viewers to cable! They would deserve it for being such onerous jerks!!!!!!

me again. It has been confirmed that W.A.T. has been cancelled. I am truly devastated. I agree, it was getting a bit boring but a few good cases could have saved it. I really hope it gets picked up by another station. i cant tell you how sad I am right now. I could tell by the finale of season 7 that it was over, the way they ended it. Now i HAVE to go buy all the seasons (season 1 is the best) on dvd so this show is always remembered and i can watch it. STUPID CBS!! Picking Numbers over without a trace just because it is less expensive. thanks for caring CBS…NOT!! I am so angry, so sad, jack malone is gone! Oh and btw to all u WAT fans: repeats of WAT on every weekday on Bravo 2 pm eastern. love u WAT, fave actress Poppy (sam spade)hope to see u in more productions. <3 <3 i am forever a without a trace fan

Without a Trace is one of the best programs on network TV; it’s pretty pathetic that the bean counters determine what we will be allowed to watch. Hope cable TV takes over the program & there will be less reason to watch network TV.

Wow, CBS cancelled Without a Trace because they actually wanted to make a profit? How dare they! I’ve never heard of such a thing. How dare a business try to make money!! Look, I know you’re upset but try to actually understand how business works, otherwise you sound childish.

  • W.A.T. fan

Hurricane, I understand it is a business, and sorry if I sounded “childish”, I was simply stating my opinion. However, if CBS really wanted to make a profit, they would keep Without a Trace and Cold Case because they are some of the highest rated shows on CBS, with the most viewers. Numbers is the cheaper show to produce, so I do understand their decision. I just think its unfortunate because W.A.T. and Cold Case have MANY more fans than Numbers :(

I thought I heard wrong when a friend told me they were cancelling Without a Trace. This show is one of the best on television and needs to stay!

CBS could care less about what you or I think. Look what they did last year to Moonlight fans. They strung them along letting them believe the show was coming back and the heartlessly cancelled the show and made fun of its viewers. In the end they do what they want and the heck with what you want to see.

Once a again a bad decision by another network. I have already found out today that 2 other networks cancelled 2 of my favorite shows. They are taking all the quality shows off the air and leaving stupid stuff on or creating new ridculous shows. Dating in the Dark SERIOUSLY PEOPLe what are they thinking. I am so tired of good shows being taken away to make room for more reality TV. Just plain sick of it.

    R.I.P. Without a Trace

are you really kiddig me. they sholdnt cancell cold case. its such a good show and to me it really means a whole lot to me. really bow many times do you see a show about the city of philadelphia and its not the news saying that there has been some massicure or a violet shooting or something anything along those lines that doesnt make the city look like trash. they need to keep the show on.

Cold Case and Without a Trace are terrific programs! I also really like Numbers and The Mentalist and NCIS and CSI-Miami and Ghost Whisperer. In fact, CBS has the only shows I want to watch besides SYFY and Cartoon Network. All their shows are superior and I am not interested in the horrible reality crap programming. CBS has a bad, bad habit of cancelling good shows/without giving shows a chance. Where is “Three Rivers” already? It got better every week! Where is Flashpoint and The Unit and The Eleventh Hour? Look at the ratings and CBS has 15 out of 20 of the most watched shows

  • tina

Cold Case is one of my favorite shows. It is a shame when they take a good show off to replace it with a reality show or a comedy, there is very little good shows left anymore!!!!!!!

  • Cindy Carlson

Well…I am left adrift. Cannot STAND the realities-nope-none of them. 2 sitcoms are good-both CBS, have been almost exclusive CBS viewer for several years. I think I have lost faith, tho, with CSi Miami still on (gag, cough, duh) and these 2 shows off. WHAT GIVES? Okay-there are bright spots on CSiM but certainly not with the redheaded wooden by as the lead. sigh. Guess it’s reruns and DVD for me.

  • JULIE

I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR COLD CASE TO COME ON SINCE THE FALL SHOWS STARTED. YOU CAN’T LEAVE ME HANGING AS TO WHAT HAPPENED ON THE LAST EPISODE. I HAVE BEEN WAITING TO SEE THE RESULTS. THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE SHOWS, I LOOK FORWARD TO WATCHING EVERY SUNDAY NIGHT. GET IT BACK ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
