    Thanks John, I appreciate that. I agree, most of us will sit in people’s laps to attend this play, it’s really important to us. Oh, I apologize for the last sentence in my previous comment. It was crude and the complete opposite of how I normally state things. Although I am very annoyed with Mr. and Mrs. Jackman for starting all this and wasting the taxpayer’s money and causing general grief, tears, anxiety, and arguements I will express my opinions in a more eloquent and acceptable way.
    Finally, because of this play Mr. Cahill and Steve Martin have earned my endless respect. Oh, one more thing: Even though we “lost” the school board meeting, we still won! GO SELF-EXPRESSION AND FREEDOM OF SPEECH!!!

    I probably know alot of people that signed that petition. It is interesting how many of us jump on a bandwagon when we don’t know all of the facts. It is human nature I think.
    But the fact remains, that just because everyone is “doing it” doesn’t make it right.
    From the sounds of it, this play may not be as bad as some have made it sound, but as far as..”Hey these are HS kids getting ready for adulthood” goes.. Please! I remember wishing so much when I was a kid that I was grown up, now look at me, and many others my age, wishing we had our youth. Innocent youth?? Not much of today’s youth are innocent anymore, are they?
    I have to say, that I might be inclined to see what all the hubbub is about if I’m in town that weekend, but I’m not a blind follower to anyone, and will look into the script.
    Hope you all that are so rude to each other will look at yourselves and realize you need to grow up and act like civilized mature “adults”. There should be no tolerance for such behavior.
