My guess for “Big Love” (although I really hope not) is that it is Albie. In the previews for next week, his first wife is really upset about something. About “Lost” I have no idea, but like the person above said, the picture of Desmond above scares me.
Why do so many shows feel the need to put characters in jeopardy and/or kill them? Sigh. I’m fine with growth and change (I’m one of the few who thought the Ducklings moving on in House was fine/reasonable); however, why does it always have to be “shocking”?
I’m not going to threaten to stop watching a show if it kills off a character that I like, as I always watch for multiple factors and am willing to give shows a chance to develop, but I really, really, really hate all of these sweeps stunts. Can’t there be good solid storytelling without all of the sensationalism? One death is shocking. Multiple deaths is overload. Ow well. Hopefully these are all well written stories and the shows do not suffer from them.
Chuck….
Big Mike. In the office. With a marlin. ’nuff said
please don’t let it be Chloe!
I doubt you’d basically reveal the identity in your picture that it’s Chloe, and she’s not just a long-running character she’s an original character in more then one way.
My speculation is the same, it’s Lois and Davis who dies.
It’s SO Chloe.
Chloe Sullivan better not die!!!
Michael, Smallville has new cast pictures, Why are you using such an ancient picture of Allison? is it to prove your point that her character is long running? I will freak if Chloe dies!!!!!!!!!!!!
Memo to EW:
Okay, I get that Aussiello’s big thing is spoilers, but that is for people who want to read him, not fans who go to the EW website and are shown, against their will, photos of possible character deaths. I don’t want to know who dies on Lost before I see the FREAKIN episode, becuase I am strange and want to feel the shock and the heartbreak when it occurs. Totally irresponsible, stupid, and vile of you EW. Would a giant question mark instead of the reveals have been outside of your imagination?
please don’t let it be Chloe!
I’ve learned in my watching of tv shows is that the characters who usually die are wearing red shirts (like on Star Trek) and/or are minorities.
I had been thinking that Albie was going to get offed on Big Love too. But I’m *hoping* that it’s Roman instead. Or at least that majorly creepy Hollis Greene. But when you were saying that it was going to be shocking, I half thought that they might kill off one of the wives–Nickie maybe.
Would someone please kill off Lana from Smallville? Pretty please?
chloe needs to die in order to motivate clark to become superman.
as for 24, when bill died. i had to rewind the scene several times to make sure i saw what i saw.
Has any show ever gotten BETTER by having the ritualistic ‘kill-off?”
hmmm…very interesting that Grey’s is not mentioned here at all…so is Izzie going to live?
