    I assume Cindy and the kids are just with the Others since they joined them a while back – looks like they stayed in 2004 instead of time jumping with Sawyer and friends.
    And Rose/Bernard’s whereabouts are unknown, that’s just one of the things we don’t know and will find out at some later point. They could be in 1977, they could have been left back in some different time period.

    I think it’s Aaron.
    He somehow warps into the 1970′s, takes the sub off, and tries to contact all the survivors as young kids.
