Oh, YEAH!!! I thought I was hooked before, but this tops all! ;-)

Leonard is an extraordinary actor not only because he was Spock but also because he played the Magnificent Paris in the Mission: Impossible TV series. Casting him is a stroke of genius.

  • Ernie

    Perfect!!

  • BHM1304

This is the first bit of casting news that you have ever reported that makes complete sense. (So long as “Fringe” gets its deserved pick up…) Great casting!

  • Ricardo

Talk about Dream Casting…this has gotta be a “must see.”

  • boocat

Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love “Fringe” and now they have Mr.Nimoy on board!!!

  • Wendy

Love the show already – and Nimoy’s addition will make it even better.
I’m happy too that filming is moving to Vancouver – maybe I can spot them during filming since I live on the west coast.

  • Harmonia

    one word- Awesome!

  • Peter

Fringe my favorite program, now it will be even better. i can’t wait to see those two powerhouse actors eat up the sets. Best television news in a long time.

  • Seth

Sweet, hopefully this will give the show a wider profile and a ratings boost. I’ve really been enjoying Fringe this year and I was disappointed to hear that it wasn’t doing that well. It’s well written, the plot is interesting and the characters are engaging and memorable. Having Leonard Nimoy in there will be great too, especially as the heretofor shadowy figure behind the seens at Massive Dynamic, which seems tied up in all of the crazy stuff that’s gone on this season. Cheers!

This is a wonderful dream come true! <3 Fringe and <3 Leonard Nimoy!

  • Eric S

When I read this it just felt right. I hadn’t pictured Nimoy, but he fits right into my conception of what William Bell would be like.

  • Dave

The obvious word to describe it: fascinating!

  • Second Season!

The part I was happiest to read was that Fringe will be back this fall. This is the first time I’ve heard this (though I know it’s probably not news to most…).

  • Richard Slatin

Mr. Nimoy has played many other (non-Star Trek) roles in his career and if he’s willing to come out of retirement then we should enjoy more fine performances by him.
