I agree, JP, this show has so much to appreciate. So many peeps spend too much time being angry over not getting things their way. DS has always done things his way. And so far, I’m lovin’ it. I loved season four-that’s the season that made me start watching the series. And I loved this season too. In fact, I’ve bought almost every episode on itunes.
That promo for next week looks wicked awesome. All of it, the patient with the skin falling off (sucks to be her), House’s further descent into madness (and Wilson & Cuddy’s reactions to it-H/C/W are the show. Although I do appreciate the other characters too) and the Huddy at the end. That threw me for a loop. Just when I think House can’t surprise me anymore, he goes and says that to Cuddy.
I love this show so hard. I also heart the promo dudes. And I vote DS and KJ for exec. producers of the year.
I miss the days when House was a mystery to his fellows, Cuddy and Wilson. He would do insane things or say random things that seemed to make no sense – only to have it all come together at the end of the episode. Now EVERYONE analyzes EVERYTHING that is said and done; essentially turning the whole cast into House and taking away his unique quality. Has anyone else noticed this change in the dynamic of the show and the characters?
Ugh, more Huddy. So we can see pretty definitely that Huddy is having sex next week, and I must say I’m really not too happy. Cuddy has been reduced to a weak and needy character – what happened to that hilarious yet still sexual banter between these two characters seasons 1-3? I think making them romantically involved is a major mistake – they work too well together when they DON’T like each other.
I also agree with some earlier postings that this show was so much better when it didn’t focus on the ‘couples’ – chameron, huddy, foreteen. Whatever happened to just the characters interacting with each other and House? Yes, there was some Hameron in seasons 1-3, but the reason I like Hameron is because it didn’t take over the show and it seemed to fit with the characters – House didn’t change and Cameron didn’t change, and the show kept what made it great. Now I think it’s really lost something. I miss Cameron Chase and Foreman doing their thing, occasionally having moments with House
God, I really hate the whole Chase/Cameron romance. Can we PLEASE have them back as doctors, doing their jobs in an interesting and funny way? That’s what I loved about seasons 1-3 – no couples.
What I want to see happen in this show is it go back to how it was – interesting character interaction, awesome medical mysteries and just a little “hameron” banter to lighten the mood. Please.
I’m so sick of seeing a select group of bitter “fans” respond to every single “House”-related item with a whine about House/Cameron… Here’s a clue: If you want to be taken seriously and not just be seen as some bitter shipper, you might try refraining from claiming how much you hate the ‘ships on “House” in one breath then go on to talk about how much you loved House/Cam in the next. Get your story straight. You can’t have it both ways.
Love House. Olivia Wilde is so hot: http://www.actressscene.com/search/label/Olivia%20Wilde
The latest promo clips on House are beyond hot! I am so glad that at last the House/Cameron false issues can be put to bed, the fascinating friendship between House and Wilson can become a focus once again, and the always sparky and seriously damaged tension between House and Cuddy can reach an exciting new level. The intelligent and sexy chemistry between Hugh Laurie and Lisa Edelstein is the engine that drive this show. This is by far the most creative and engaging scripted drama on television. Long may it reign!
“The intelligent and sexy chemistry between Hugh Laurie and Lisa Edelstein is the engine that drive this show. ”
LOL er…no.
Cuddy is just a trampoline for House, like that Aussie guy…mere foundation for the show. His relationship with his ex-wife was much more interesting.
I agree with Courtney, and I quote, ” I feel like she’s been reduced to this whiny, desperate character pining for House…but why? She’s Cuddy. She’s the boss! She was never portrayed as this weak before…I felt bad for her character, because I’ve always respected and enjoyed Cuddy and seeing her with some pathetic lines made me cringe.
Less romance is the only solution I can see, because Cuddy deserve better than being reduced to such a demeaning role.” End quote—You are so right-Cuddy has turned into a wimpering female, I mean, what happened to her? This is not staying true to her character. And like I’ve said before, where the heck is her foster baby? I really didn’t like that either, but I like it better than her having a fling with House (who sees hookers, so Cuddy better be tested for diseases after this).Cuddy should be smarter than that than to give it to a guy who prefers hookers. He only lusts for her, he isn’t in love with her, cause she is HOT & GORGEOUS!
Another thing I wanted to mention: I never did think their kiss before was very comfortable looking. It didn’t look real or right at all. I remember watching a clip of Lisa from a show where she played a lesbian & that kiss looked intense & like she was into it. I don’t see where people see great chemistry between Cuddy & House, only in sparring & snide remarks, definitely not sexual chemistry. At least I sure don’t see it. Lisa is very talented & maybe she does like Hugh but that doesn’t mean there is chemistry going on enough to make it look real. I guess it’s not our call but I hope the writers take some notice of our postings. Prob don’t but it’s nice to vent. Once again, I will say, I want the old Cuddy back, putting House in his place! She can care about him w/o sleeping with him.
