Lisa Rinna on 'Melrose Place' reboot: 'I don’t think I wanna go back anymore.'

After a very public campaign to return to her old Melrose Place address for The CW’s planned reboot, Lisa Rinna now tells EW that she’s reconsidered going back to the famous apartment complex. “I don’t think I wanna go back anymore,” admits the actress, who played Taylor McBride from 1996-98. “Seriously, I watched some old tapes recently — Harry [Hamlin, her husband] and I were going through stuff. It doesn’t feel right! It feels weird. I’ve changed my mind. You can’t go back!”

But Rinna, whose new self-help book Rinnavation hits shelves on May 19, isn’t done with acting. “I feel like I have another great character in me. I think maybe a Mrs. Robinson type. I’m gonna put that out in the universe. Third time’s a charm.”

‘I don’t think I wanna go back anymore.’
LMAO, they don’t want you back!!!!!

  • tina

They didn’t want you back in the first place! Crazy b i t c h.

Add this to the “completely pathetic behaviors by Lisa Rinna” list. Not sure if it beats out shilling her dead dog for the sympathy vote on DWTS or begging for a Daytime Emmy while *presenting* on the Daytime Emmys, but you can take your pick!

Reminds me of Ian Ziering’s reaction to the new 90210 last year. First he was open to the idea of returning, but when it became clear that the producers didn’t want him back, he declared that he wanted to move forward to new areas in his “career.”

They didn’t want you back anyway, I stopped watching 90210 cause of tori spelling, And I would have not given this show a chance cause of her.

  • Kyle

They were never going to ask you back to begin with, you foolish, pathetic, disgusting-looking woman.

  • Matt

Oh, darn. We were just talking it over, and were going to see if you’d take a role on the show. But, I guess since you don’t want it – we’ll go see what Jamie Luner’s up to.

Everyone here has pretty much summed it up:
“I don’t think I wanna go back anymore.”
Translation: “They didn’t ask me, so now I’m going to try to save face…my current one.”

Third time’s the charm? Is she referring to Billie Reed and Taylor McBride?

  • Beth

Lisa, if I throw a stick, will you PLEASE leave????

  • Eliza

Funny that after all her begging now she doesn’t want to go back. Tjey were never going to ask her back. She’s a lousy actress, a tacky self absorbed person and her reputation of causing trouble with castmates is legendary! (Also she’s had so much plastic surgery, that to me her looks are freakish).
Hey CW get smart..if you want to bring Taylor McBride back. Fine. Hire Nicolette Sheridan. The irony and fun of it all won’t be lost on the audience.

  • Mancini

Yes we want you back Lisa. Don’t listen to all these comments from these shitty people! Remember Taylor has a son with Michael, so we need you back! -Someone who supports you-
