How many people noticed in that pivotal scene at Kutner’s the big blood stain was next to two differing Converse tennis shoes, Jack Purcells and Chuck Taylor All Stars? Nirvana’s Kurt Cobain was the most famous wearer of both, donning the former in the MTV Unplugged performance, and the latter for most of the rest of his career (a toe-tapping Chuck is the first image you see in the “Teen Spirit” video). Especially because the first Kutner-is-dead episode aired on April 6, the week of the 15th anniversary of Cobain’s death, another fake suicide thingee, this can hardly be considered coincidental. The shoulder-to-foot view which was the only look at the Kutner body was very close to the position of the famous photo of Cobain (except that Kutner appears to be face-down). Kutner is said to have been shot in the temple, which matches the description first released about Cobain (an esoteric point, just trust me on that). CONTINUES

And then almost nothing. House floats this past Cuddy, who dismisses it, leading House to snarl that it would have been “unethical” for the killer to stage a murder as a suicide. But there is no code of “ethics” for killers, so it’s the wrong word, unless the killer was a professional with an established code. When he tries to discuss this with Cameron, she says they should be hearing the strains of a Who song. He later retorts the same to her. But that’s just a CSI:NY reference, right?
Maybe it’s more. The song “Baba O’Riley,” is one of the few rock anthems that so openly ridicules the teen culture that it supposedly champions, with its “teenage wasteland” refrains. Rock bands don’t usually satirize a big part of their audience, the teens, this being bad for business. Of course, then came along Nirvana and “…Teen Spirit.”

    Gregory Killed Kutner.
It’s the only plot line that ties everything in the recent episodes together, and the only thing that can resolve the failings of the House character to follow through on his original pronouncement that Kutner “didn’t kill himself, he was murdered.” This was spoken in all seriousness to Wilson at the scene of Kutner’s apartment, in what is probably the most Holmesian scene in the whole series, with House and Wilson as their prototypes, Holmes and Watson. Kutner Was Murdered.
I’ve just looked at my tape of the promo for the finale that ran at the end of the show a few hours ago, and it promises “the biggest shock in House history.” Not many clues are there, but apparently Cuddy is denying the at-last sex romp with Dr. H, which leads us to wonder how much of the final domestic situation between the two was pure hallucination.
So after a lifetime of bad behavior with a famously unforgiving edge, what has pushed our favorite board certified diagnostician to a point where he considers himself certifiable this week? He could not arrive at a diagnosis, although he seriously considered “mental illness” and “schizophrenia” repeatedly. CONTINUES, NEXT…

If Kutner was murdered, it negates the entire sincere message at the end of that program dealing with Suicide Prevention.
    End of Story.
Oh, BTW— I think it’s something like Carl Reiner’s character is House’s real father!

Love the show, specially Olivia Wilde. She is sooo hot: http://www.actressscene.com/2009/04/olivia-wilde-in-alpha-dog.html

  • Get Real

@RealChider…You’re obviously obsessed with Kurt Cobain and Nirvana…if you look hard enough you can find anything to associate to them. House doesn’t revolve around your obsession though…get a life!

  • House just got him some Cuddy

A common reaction to the Huddy hookup last night:

  • Gots to say…

House has himself one hot WOMAN.
    Not girl. WOMAN.
    HOT.

  • roana

damn..the video of “House just got him some Cuddy” is f***ing awesome!!..you should watch it!!..i totally laughed at it!!..

  • Who knew it could be so hot?

@ roana, I know. Those guys were so cool. They managed to capture with candor the joy and excitement of the moment. I wish DS/KJ could see the vid. Then they would have at least an inkling of how much we appreciated that moment. You know, I totally didn’t expect Huddy sex to live up to the hype. Only because, between the knowledge of how smokin’ their chemistry is and because of that there have been so many Huddy scenarios written and discussed, coupled with the knowledge that imagination rarely beats reality… I gotta admit, I expected somewhat of a letdown. T
They totally knocked that moment out of the park. I must say, DS/KJ, Pamela and Lawrence, Straiton and to whoever edited that episode, you win at life.
    Re: the new promo….Promo peeps+Huddies=Love.

  • My bad…

I can’t believe I forgot to give props to the two people who actually acted out the scene. Oops.
So, to Hugh and Lisa, HOT D**N, you guys!! Could you two *be* any hotter?
Throwin’ it out there, JIC, DS/KJ click that link. You *have* to see it. I bet you guys will get a kick out of it too. Why? Because you just seem cool like that.
    Much love.

Whatever happened to watching a show for the sheer enjoyment of it? Why do people have to spend endless hours dissecting it and trying to read so much into it? Come on people, save your brain for more important issues and just enjoy or turn the channel. With that said, I truly enjoyed last Monday’s episode and am sure I will enjoy next Monday’s too; and if Hugh Laurie doesn’t win an Emmy this year, it’s because the Emmy panel obviously hasn’t used their brains for anything other to take up space in their skulls.
