Hmm…NBC decides to give us (let’s see):
A rehashed TV show based on a movie that didn’t work the first time when the movie was new…
Two new Medical Dramas when their only decent medical drama finally ended after a few seasons of beating the genre’s dead horse…
Two “new” comedies that are basically revisionist versions of “How I Met Your Mother” and “Head of the Class”…
Five hours of “Late Nite TV” in Prime Time…
MORE brain-melting reality TV “winners” like Biggest Loser (for 90 minutes?!?!) and Celebrity Apprentice…
…and they are on the bubble with shows like Chuck and Life?
Serves NBC right coming in 4th. Talk about a total disconnect from what people want. This isn’t how you run a TV network…it’s how you run a TV network into the ground.
Come on NBC. Why would you add two new medical shows and not decide on Chuck?!
SAVE CHUCK!!!
I’ll really be upset with NBC if they cancel Chuck. I like crime dramas too but this is the show where I can laugh with my son. Get with it NBC. Move the show if needed but keep it going.
I might boycott NBC all together if CHUCK isn’t renewed. It’s the only good thing about Mondays!
What is NBC’s problem??????? Chuck is fun, light hearted and easy watching. Put it on a different night fine but don’t cancel it!
Regarding Parenthood, you had me at Bonnie Bedelia and Peter Krause! HOWEVER, if they DON’T renew Chuck, then Bonnie and Peter will have to be brilliant without me watching.
I cannot believe they STILL have not renewed Chuck! Parks & Recreation got renewed before Chuck – are you kidding me?
IF they don’t bring Chuck back that will be it for NBC for me! Only one of their new shows sounds even slightly promising – Day One – but I won’t watch unless they bring Chuck back!!!! What more does Chuck have to do to get some love from NBC???
1. I’m going to Subway and eating two delicious $5 footlong subs just because Chuck likes them.
2. Two new medical dramas? Really, ER is dead LET IT DIE!!
3. If I want to watch sit-coms, I’ll watch reruns of classic ones instead of tired reimaginings of them.
4. Life, Chuck, Terminator:SCC, Dollhouse, these are the shows that everyone I know is watching. So what is wrong with your ratings system? Will someone please sign the TV Execs up on twitter?
5. Please don’t cancel ALL of my favorite shows!!!!!
ace— you are 100% right. Being one of the fans that mailed nuts to CBS, I guess I’m hoping for the best on this show. BTW, a Jericho feature film looks to be in the making.
The only new show on NBC’s lineup that I will check out is Community and that’s only because I love Joel McHale.
PLEASE keep Chuck! Why do network ex’s always axe the good stuff (see Arrested Development)and keep the drivle!? Is it part of the dumbing down of America?
BRING BACK CHUCK! BRING BACK CHUCK!BRING BACK CHUCK!BRING BACK CHUCK!BRING BACK CHUCK!BRING BACK CHUCK!BRING BACK CHUCK!BRING BACK CHUCK!BRING BACK CHUCK!BRING BACK CHUCK!BRING BACK CHUCK!BRING BACK CHUCK!BRING BACK CHUCK!BRING BACK CHUCK!BRING BACK CHUCK!BRING BACK CHUCK!BRING BACK CHUCK!BRING BACK CHUCK!BRING BACK CHUCK!BRING BACK CHUCK!BRING BACK CHUCK!BRING BACK CHUCK!BRING BACK CHUCK!BRING BACK CHUCK!BRING BACK CHUCK!BRING BACK CHUCK!BRING BACK CHUCK!
None of the new shows sound even remotely interesting to me so I won’t be watching, but I’m really hoping Life and Chuck are renewed. Especially Life.
I think we should show NBC what will happen to their Monday 8pm slot if there’s no Chuck to watch. SWITCH TO ABC, CBS, or any other network. DO NOT WATCH NBC TONIGHT AT 8pm. Let them see their numbers go down without Chuck. Maybe that will make the difference.
Chuck was the only consistently entertaining hour on NBC, and maybe even all of TV, and yet, all this drama. shouldn’t even be a debate about bringing it back.
Doesn’t the Day One premise sound a little like Jericho?
