US magazine you are the scumbag magazine of all time, totally classless. Jason(the brother) you are nothing but trailer trash, throwing your whole family under the bus for a few bucks. You just ruined your sister’s life, forever. Take the kids and run Kate and don’t look back like Lot’s wife did. He maybe a “nice guy’, but with his personality that I observed#lazy, happy-go-lucky, type AB# he may resist temprations for a while because of this press blitz, but MARK my words, he will bring himself as well as the whole family down sooner or later. I think you shouls still go ahead with the show, tours, etc., with seperation or joint custody. You would only have to sit with him for one hour out of the week for the couch interview. You are a smart woman, this is the time to use your wits for the sake of the family

  • jo

I bet the kids would rather have their parents at home and some privacy and normalcy in their lives than have parents out gallivanting around and some materialistic things provided. But unfortunately that’s not what the adults in charge of them want so they are stuck.
And Kate, don’t you think you cause plenty of ‘tension and stress’ all on your own? And if your main focus is on your family, you would be home with your family instead of making appearances around the country.

These people are OF COURSE concerned about ratings! This is their money train so that loser husband doesn’t have to actually WORK to support his family, just barhop. Low ratings, mean no show, no money, no perks. They will have to return to begging like they did in the early days. Well maybe not, since they’ve earned WAY more than they feel they are ENTITLED to.

  • Allison

Please end the show and the exposure now Jon & Kate – for the sake of your kids.
    Remember them?
They are the innocent lives being forced to be played out in public.
    Think about them. Please.

Good for him, I hope he did cheat. I’m just sorry he got caught. You see the was Kate treats him on camera, just think what goes on when they are off. If he really didn’t do it, he should!

  • Kay

This whole thing is about to blow up in Jon-boy’s face. The truth will come out about Jon cheating, and he will admit it.

  • Lisa

I am totally bugged that Kate says John’s “poor judgement and irresponsible behavior”..what???? He went to a bar with friends. Is that not allowed once you’re married with children? I used to like and watch the show but now I just feel sorry for John. I used to think their bantering was funny but now I just think Kate is a controlling b-word. Give the guy a break!! He didn’t do anything wrong, Kate. Don’t YOU trust him? Do you never get to go out with your girlfriends? Your idea of a night out with the girls might be different than John’s but it doesn’t make him wrong. Sheesh!!!

  • Preston

I don’t care if people are coming to Jon’s defense. I don’t understand why he was at that club talking with that woman. Did he leave those 8 kids at home and sneak out of the house? But maybe it’s his way to get away from Kate’s control freak attitude. Maybe they need to end the show after its next season starting on May 25th. They need to be with their kids more and see them growing. And that’s something they need to do when they return to their once private life. Just don’t be on TV anymore or red carpet premieres and promoting new books and such. Yes, they’re getting high ratings for TLC, but at what price over having floods of cameras filming their every move?

Kate is unbelievable! Who could blame Jon for wanting to be away from her and with friends. I wonder if she is going to yell at him in the stores again this season. How humiliating and embarrassing for Jon. Does she ever watch herself on TV? She is a shrew, pure and simple.

  • GayleInez

If he said it it MUST be true.
As Jon once said, “I don’t lie, normally.”

  • whatcha

Like other commenters here, Jon’s got to learn that running from bars at 2am with younger women just begs the world to see you as a cheater. Jon’s got to deal with the world as it is, not as he wants it to be. If he doesn’t want this kind of negative attention, stay home! Especially when wifey is out of town. It’s funny, but many spouses get miffed when the other half uses a business trip as an opportunity for bar runs. And if Kate gets on him for breathing incorrectly, God knows how she’s treating him for this.

  • If it walks like a duck…and quack likes a duck..then its a DUCK..

I am in agreement, Kate COMPLETELY condescends him and treats him like crap! NO wonder why he cheated on her, I would most likely do the same thing if I was in his shoes. I in also in agreement that they should hang up their “TV hats” and pay attention to their children instead of riding the meal ticket of “Jon and Kate Plus Eight”

  • jo

And it is, in Kate’s words, ‘disturbing and unfortunate’ what Jon and Kate have done to their kids to make a buck, have cosmetic surgery, get freebies, grab the spotlight, etc. and what Jon and Kate continue to do given the downward spiral in their true quality of life. Go ahead and ride this gravy train into the ground Jon and Kate and all of those supporting them — TLC, Figure 8, Zondervan, companies like P&G, Gymboree, Lane,…, the media that keeps interviewing them, the fans that watch and buy the crap they sell, and let’s not forget the churches and women’s shows that put them on a pedestal. You are all despicable.

  • sara

I’m sure Kate will find a way to turn this into a new money-making venture.
“Kate + eight – life after Jon”
All you have to do is watch the recent episodes to see that Kate only cares about Kate, she doesn’t even give a damn about her kids anymore.
She’ll find them a good nanny and keep her book tours and paid appearances going and capture it all on tape for TLC (the leader in helping families pimp out their kids for fame and fortune) as an “inspiration” for all women struggling with life as a single mom.
Sadly she will still have shallow, narcissistic women who are just like her, that will line up and pay money to listen to this woman’s nonsense and they will watch as these poor innocent children will keep being put on display for the almighty dollar.

  • Gin

Maybe he did cheat and she forgave him and they are trying to work it out, out of the public eye.
If Kate was out of town and Jon was at the bar, who was watching the kids?
