UPDATED season finale scorecard: Weddings! Deaths! Pregnancies! Arrests! Cyndi Lauper!

Seasonfinales_lAs we enter the last leg of the season, plot twists piling up on all sides, you can do one of two things: You can let the tension get to you and bite your nails down to nubs, or you can make fun of the suspense by trying to guess what’s going to happen to whom. Of course, you don’t have to guess which option I’m in favor of. As you will see below, I went ahead and compiled a by-the-numbers list of almost-spoilers — all of which take place within the next two weeks. Now it’s your turn. Connect the dots to answer your own burning questions. I’ll even give you a (big) hint: At least one incident from the list pertains to the finales of each of the following shows: Desperate Housewives, 30 Rock, House, Ugly Betty, The Office, CSI: NY, Smallville, Supernatural, How I Met Your Mother, Prison Break, Lost, Gossip Girl, 90210, Grey’s Anatomy, 24, and Bones. Mind you, in spite of appearances to the contrary, I can’t know everything, so there may be a surprise or three that isn’t mentioned below. But this rundown ought to be comprehensive enough to keep you up nights. Enjoy! FYI: The events apply to regular or recurring characters, not random guest stars. Also, the chart will be continually updated to ID the person (or people) connected to each milestone shortly after said milestone takes place. In other words, beware of spoilers!

Think you can match the season-ending events with the shows they take place on? Take your best shot in the comments section! Oh, and you shouldn’t necessarily read anything into the photo collage above. There could be some clever misdirection at work there.

    OMG I would be heartbroken

So, are we to believe that neither of the characters who are institutionalized are “regular or recurring characters, not random guest stars?”
So- it is not House going to the NJ hosptial????

  • Cricket Seranade

I am really hoping that the pregnancy isn’t on House. Cuddy being pregnant would be really wrong. Could you imagine having House as a father? The poor kid will need to start therapy in utero.

  • Jack

Well Lynette (of DH) is pregnant. Been known for weeks now.

  • KatiieCrazii

as long as cuddy isnt pregnant on house i think we’ll all be happy
    however anything could happen tonight!

I assume the “time jump” mentioned is probably a “one year later” thing? And not a reference to something crazy on LOST with a character literally giving birth while time traveling? And speaking of LOST, is there still a major death remaining? And is that death a character from season 1 (I heard that at some point somewhere) or just a major character (which could include someone like Juliet)?

My best guess for the returning former love is going to be the gardener in Desperate Housewives; especially since we’ve learned that a prominent character from the first season is coming back in the season finale.

well duh mer-der get married. ?? is how long is the wedding scene they get? 50 seconds or 10 secs?

  • nicole

lynette being pregnant? that annoys me .
are they killing off dana delany?

I only watch House, nothing else, so hard to say for me what might happen on other shows – but concerning House I can say: as long as it involves Huddy and Chameron being over soon I’m fine with pretty much anything. I doubt there’s really going to be a wedding, and I doubt even more that Cuddy’s pregnant, just the thought is too ridiculous. That would be 100% soap opera, so exactly what DS always claims he does NOT want. One thing I’m rather sure about: “Number of characters institutionalized: 2″ -> House is one of them, if not the spoilers and the filming location for the beginning of season 6 were really really misleading. Anyway, can’t wait to see what will happen on House!

    Looking forward to House

grdngrl, I think it’s exactly the opposite. The characters institutionalized are either regular or recurring, but not random guest stars.
