CBS, as expected, will pick up an NCIS spinoff starring Chris O’Donnell and LL Cool J along with two new dramas from Ridley Scott and Jerry Bruckheimer, a key source said Monday. The eye won’t announce its fall schedule until Wednesday in New York, but new shows were notified today about their berth on the network’s schedule (it’s unclear for now whether they’ll bow in the fall or midseason). Among them: Scott’s The Good Wife, a legal drama starring Julianna Margulies and Chris Noth about a politician’s wife who returns to the courtroom; Bruckheimer’s Miami Trauma, a drama starring Jeremy Northam about a team of trauma surgeons; and Three Rivers, a medical drama featuring Alex O’Loughlin (pictured) and Julia Ormond about organ transplantion. The net also picked up the new family sitcom Accidentally On Purpose, starring Jenna Elfman as a single movie critic who gets pregnant by a younger man, and a reality show called Undercover Boss.

Three Rivers?! Seriously?! YAY!!!!!!!!!!! *does happy dance* Thanks, CBS! Now don’t put it on the Friday night of doom, please!
I am so happy to still see Three Rivers on the list. I keep my fingers crossed either way. Go Alex!!!!!!!!!!!
Congrats to Alex O’Loughlin!!! Can’t wait to see the first episode of Three Rivers. Needs a good lead-in. Can we see some McDreamy or McSteamy action? I still mooning over Mick St. John.
HOT DAMN! I’m gonna get my weekly Alex fix. WOO HOO!
Congrats to Kate Moennig for the Three Rivers!!!! Woohoo!!!
CBS has a simple formula, Procedrula Drama and Comedy Series. I do not understand the need for 2 medical dramas and a lawyer drama. These shows do not fill up the void that was lost because NBC has no more ER and ABC has no more Boston Legal. The only good show from that pack will be that spin off of NCIS.
I’m wishing really to confirm the great news: “Three Rivers” with Alex O’Loughlin is finally approved by CBS. We all support to you Alex! Go on!!!
WHERE ON EARTH IS WITHOUT A TRACE?!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DO WE NBEED ANOTHER NstinkIS? NO!!!!!!!! IT BEATS SVU EVERY WEEK!!!!!!!! BRING IT BACK CBS!!! BRING BACK WITHOUT A TRACE!!!
OMG!!! Not another Juliana Margulies lawyer show. Did they not learn from Canterbury’s Law???
I’m interested in both medical shows…but really think one of them will be axed fairly quickly.
Wanting to love the NCIS spinoff. Already love the Chris ODonnel and LL Cool J pairing. Not as happy with Louise Lombard’s Macy. PLEASE get rid of the actress playing Kensi (wasn’t she supposed to be asian??)
I’m torn…I love Alex O’Laughlin…but I LOATHE Julia Ormond. And she may very well keep me from even giving the new show a chance.
And although I enjoy NCIS, I’m not sold on the spin-off.
Actually, none of these shows really catch my attention. It’s all the same crap we’ve already seen. Hollywood apparently needs new writers.
Yay on NCIS spinoff! I loved Chris O’Donnell in it (who knew??) and he and LL Cool J had some nice chem. I’m looking forward to it!
And I agree Kvivik on Julianna Margulies and playing another lawyer. I like her, but man, “Canterbury’s Law” did NOT do her any favors. She was horrible as a lawyer.
KEEP WITHOUT A TRACE!!!
up all nite airs saturday @ 8:30pm on channel 10 after the NBA playoffs featuring Robin Thick dont miss it
Keep WITHOUT A TRACE! It doesn’t make any sense when they still have a solid viewership/ratings after jerking us around on three different nights over the years that I can recall.
I`m so happy ! Alex – Three Rivers ! Great! Go Alex!!!!
