Remember that this is FOX we’re talking about. They cancelled Space:Above & Beyond after only one season, passed on the DeSanto/Singer version of Battlestar Galactica(which would’ve been a continuation of the original, even had Dirk Benedict & Herb Jefferson Jr. on board)in favor of Firefly which lasted half a season and spawned a feature film & comic book. I’m still bitter over those mistakes. At least Universal has a Battlestar Galactica feature film(based on TOS)in development. Lucasfilm was smart by signing with WB. I hate to say it, but Dollhouse will be gone by midseason of next year. I may check out the V re-imagining over on NBC.
I am so happy to see Dollhouse is renewed, and sad Terminator was not. However as many nasty comments are up about that cancellation I wouldn’t put it past die hard Whedon fans to burn FOX to the ground in protest had they cancelled Dollhouse.
Im very disapointed that Terminator TSCC was cancelled, Dollhouse is garbage, lacks plot and is boring… Putting fringe in the same slot as CSI better not affect fringe’s outcome in the future…
I think NBC is in for a huge loss of viewers if they’re betting on Jay Leno every night. Talk shows are something you don’t mind missing and won’t bother to record; whereas you tune into drama series because you’re following a story line and look forward to the show from week to week. Also – why did ABC move Ugly Betty?
thanks fox for canceling king of the hill 13 years and you cant give it a proper send off. and great another show from seth mcfarlane.woo hoo
I’m actually slightly impressed that Fox didn’t do widespread cancellations as usual. Everyone can remember the time from 2000-2005 when Fox canceled any show with promise, like Futurama, Family Guy, Arrested Development, and Firefly. And look what what they’ve done after canceling them: 4 DVD movies for Futurama, resurrection of Family Guy and then some, AD movie, and Serenity. At least they tried to appease us rather than ignore us. And now they’re barely canceling shows, letting them develop, while ABC fills that void.
However, one beef I have with the scheduling is not pairing Fringe with Dollhouse. I enjoy the other pairings, especially House with Lie to Me, although House at the same spot as Heroes dooms the latter series.

Taking away Terminator is just one more big mistake for FOX. There’s only 2 shows left worth watching. Ratings will soon be in the tank. Enjoy!
FOX just keeps sinking farther and farther down hill. They totally screwed Firefly and now Terminator. I’m a Whedon fan but I’m not interested in Dollhouse. Terminator was way better. FOX has lost me as a viewer I think. Bring Terminator The Sarah Connor Chronicles back!
Please bring back Terminator Series!!
god its getting worse – saw this on youtube think sums it up really – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NhkFv7Th9WM
lack of imagination!
I am not all that happy with this new line up. The thing that bothers me the most is the Sarah Conner Chronicles was canceled! I loved that show. While I did watch Dollhouse as well I did not enjoy it half as much. I was dying to know what happened next on TSCC and now I will never know! I could honestly care less if the Dollhouse comes back. I don’t know who makes these choices but they made a really bad one here. I am not planning to watch the Dollhouse this year now that it caused a show I really enjoyed to be shut down. TSCC was a show with a great story line and a lot of great acting/action to keep you interested. The dollhouse has no real story other than showing off the main characters body at all times. Its sad to see a good show fail for no good reason.
