Wickeddoll, if you pay any attention to the show, then you would know that Morgan would last at his job. He is NOT a Nerd Herder, he is a SALES REP. If you watch the first few episodes he says that he lacks the skillset to fix computers. Trust me, I have seen worse people than morgan who work as sales reps. It is an easy job and a 10 year old could do it

You’re right, I missed that he wasn’t NH, but he’s still very, very annoying. I *do* pay attention to really everyone *but* Morgan – even “Captain Awesome” (who I wouldn’t miss if they offed him, either)

Chuck rules! the thing is, why put off the show in a very lame way?? You can clearly see that at the end of “The Ring” episode, it says.. “TO BE CONTINUED.” Why would people wait 10 months just to see the outcome of an episode that aired 10 months earlier? Fans will have to keep watching “The Ring” and remember all of what happened because NBC wont air the next episode for 10 months??? that’s rediculous! CHUCK FANS REUNITE AND STAND UP AGAINST THE NETWORK!!!!! lol.

Sarah and Casey keep Chuck safe, but Ellie and Morgan are Chuck’s world. There is a reason that the Season one opening credits feature Chuck, Sarah, Morgan, Ellie and Casey only. These are the show’s essential characters.
I’d say Awesome should remain a core character and then all the others after. The show could cut Big Mike, Lester, Jeff and Anna back with ease.
Morgan, as witnessed in both seasons, is Chuck’s bestfriend. When Sarah thought Chuck died in the car explosion and was visibly upset (Casey too)…Chuck said a simple ‘sorry’ and then ran as fast as he could to make sure Morgan was ok. That spoke volumes. (As did his smile when he saw his buddy was fine despite everything.)
Ellie and Morgan (and now Awesome) are the reason Chuck fights. He has to keep his family safe. Anyone who thinks these two should leave doesn’t understand the show at all.
I would love to see Scott Bakula stay on for at least half the season.

One of the commentators expressed my thoughts exactly: please god, do not add another person to come between Chuck and Sarah. They have been through all of that many many times before. If there is a romantic complication, let it be for another characte on the show, because to do it to Chuck and Sarah again would just be stale storytelling. and please Please do not bring Bryce Larkin back in any way. I hate Bryce Larkin.
