Jim Parsons Jim Parsons Jim Parsons Jim Parsons Jim Parsons Jim Parsons Jim Parsons
‘Nuff Said, that man deserves it more than anyone, his reaction to penny giving him a napkin signed by Nemoy is definatly one of the funniest things i’ve ever seen

  • Sabrina

Jane Krakowski totally deserves it. Just add Elizabeth Perkins and Justin Kirk from Weeds and we’re all set. And Madeline Martin from Californication. @slizabeth: those are dramas…

  • Brent

Thank you for leaving everyone from The Office off this list. They don’t deserve it this year.

  • wendyk

Michael Urie is hilarious and certainly deserves recognition. As does Jason Segal, aka Marshall. Good noms.
I’m mostly looking forward to what FNL peeps you choose to recognize because I KNOW they will be there.

  • Buffy Freak

@slizabeth…while a good chunk of Brothers and Sisters and Grey’s Anatomy were unintenionally funny, they would be nominated in drama. Is Pushing Daisies eligible? Did it air this season?

  • Vicki

While I love Cobie on HIMYM, I don’t think she was given much to do this season.

  • Buffy Freak

Oh and for all the Jim Parsons fans I have a feeling he’ll be in the Best Actor list instead of supporting actor.

  • Rock Golf

Unless you count Kaley Cuoco (Penny) and Jim Parsons (Sheldon) as leads, then you are missing the two funniest supporting actors on TV.
Also Portia Del Rossi on Better Off Ted absolutely should be on the list.
I agree with adding the much overlooked Jane Krakowski. If she and Portia are nominated, then we have a little “Ally McBeal” reunion!

Love Jennifer Esposito. She is hot and talented:

  • Annie

Please go back and watch the entire Michael Scott Paper Company arc and tell me that Jenna Fischer doesn’t deserve huge kudos. (You could also watch such episodes as The Surplus and Lecture Circuit, too, but I know you don’t like The Office so I thought I’d spare you from too much.)

  • Tonya

Jim Parsons needs on this list. He is amazing. Sheldon rules!!

  • Linn

Chenoweth FTW! Seriously, she was robbed last year, she should WIN this year. Comfort Food, Window Dressed To Killed and freaking BAD HABITS. S’all I’m sayin’!

  • Mike

    Sorry. Kristin Chenoweth IS annoying.

So long as I don’t have to watch Jeremy Piven getting yet ANOTHER Emmy, I’ll be fine. Would love to see Segel or NPH get it, and agree that Jim Parsons as Sheldon is an inspired choice – should be on everyone’s ballot!!!
