WHERE IS EMILY DESCHANEL????????
I think you have left out a major actress to consider.
WHERE IS SANDRA OH????????????????????
She is the one who deserves the Emmy this year…not KH!!!
That’s not fair!
Marcia Gay Harden as Claire Maddox was a highlight of Damages last season. She should be nominated
Josh Holloway, Josh Holloway, Josh Holloway.
Guess I’m the only one who thinks John Noble isn’t doing anything too spectacular. Not that he’s not a good actor, but many actors/directors/critics have noted how playing crazy is among the easiest things to do. Especially if you’re playing the kind of crazy he is (i.e. not playing an actual mental illness, which is tremendously difficult to pull off realistically). Walter is the kind of crazy created by people who know nothing about mental illness – like how in a mental institution in movies people are sitting there rocking and yelling with wild hair and that = crazy. Sorry, I’m not buying his “now Walter talks about food!” brand of quirky. I just find it annoying more than anything (not his performance, but the role is annoying to me).
Best thing about Izzie’s cancer storyline was Alex’s reactions to everything that was going on. Justin Chambers deserves at the very least a nomination.
I’d like to see LOST sweep the Best Supporting Actor category this year. Josh, Terry O’Quinn, Michael Emerson, Jorge Garcia, Jeremy Davies, and Ken Leung.
How about Michael Hogan from ‘Battlestar Galactica’? Please don’t forget this show.
Chandra Wilson (Bailey) deserves a nod this year. She’s going to be overshadowed by cancer-Izzie for sure which is a shame. Bailey is the beating heart of that show.
Hope Katherine Heigl winns. Love her. She is talented and gorgeous:

@hennypenny: Rescue Me is not in competition for the Emmys this year because they went an entire year without a new episode airing due to the writer’s strike.
Connie Britton’s work on FNL was amazing throughout the season, and she is very deserving an emmy. Jeremy Davies (Lost)was also involved well, but great work from Josh holloway, and Michael Emerson. but my Vote has to go to John Noble on Fringe, amazing acting, and one of the absolute most interesting characters to come on tv in a LONG time.
I just love Connie Britton!!! She’s amazing! Well deserved!!!
I’m not on board for Jon Voight: it just seemed like Jon Voight being Jon Voight. I mean, he’s a bad arse, don’t get me wrong, but its not a stretch like it is in a performance like John Noble’s on Fringe.
Emily Deschanel is not a supporting actress. She’s a starring actress so whoever said her, wrong category.
