Why do so many people think this chick hung the moon? I’m sorry, but I do NOT get the fascination. I am a HUGE sci-fi, but never really got into BSG. I found it lacking in many ways…KS’ Starbuck certainly never won me over. I also caught her stuff on the recent NBC Bionic Woman reboot, and felt she was the weakest link in the entire cast. She’s an OK actress at best, imho. And, that’s being generous!
I think they should redo the Bauer family storyline and make Katee Jacks’ little sister. They should bring back Jacks’ father and make him admit he also has a daughter. The family resemblance is there.
Nice to see Katee getting some work. I don’t watch 24 but I think her acting style will be a perfect match for the show.

Never watched 24 before — now I defintely will — seems like great casting all around this season.
Not enough Jack on S7. I watch 24 to see Jack in action…having him sit on the sidelines practically the whole season didn’t do it for me. And pleaseeee stop portraying Chloe the way you are. The show was at its best when Jack/Chloe were interacting. You are wasting the character of Chloe right now. Garafulo – are you kidding – who made the decision to cast that waste..I almost didn’t watch S7 just because she was in it. Hopefully, she’s gone for good? As long as Sutherland is Jack, I will watch 24, once he’s gone, I’m gone – Sutherland IS 24!

This is some fraktastic news!! I have to say that Katee was one of the major reasons I even watched BSG and agree that anyone who says she can’t cut it on 24 obviously hasn’t seen any of her work on BSG. I wish she would be an agent though so she could kick some ass…O well…it’s still fraktastic news.

I have not seen another addition to the cast of 24 marketed like this, in some places I read she is called co-starring on the show, being given top billing with Jack. I don’t see any other actor on 24 being called Jack’s co-star.
Why would 24 feel the need to make all the BSG references, adding BSG actors, they are not even a science fiction show.
The show seems to take more unknowns or quirky actors and do something new with them and I do not remember them hyping new series regulars before they even appear on the show.
Brilliant news, Katee is a great actress and it will add spice to the non Bauer scenes as they seem to lack on some seasons. Cant wait and yes, Agent Walker is back for Season 8 Gambs!!
Bad news! The woman president who is just terrible is back? She was boring in ‘The Perfect Storm’ and boring in ’24′.
Frak, when I saw that ‘Starbuck’ was joining 24,
I was hoping for Dirk Benedict and the “crack commando unit” The A-Team.
