Considering what Ghost Whisperer managed to pull off last season, I think a time jump seems totally plausible. And while one or two eps with a baby might be cute, I think I’d rather see the baby as a kid.
It is silly to move GW forward see if you can watch the last episode and think about what the book said. It would leav lots of vuewers confused.
It seems more people like GW than I thought, but it’s always been something enjoyable at the end of a stressful week. While I hated the Jim is dead story this year, I have to admit it brought a different sense of serialization that it hadn’t had before. I think having to miss wading through years of taking care of a baby is OK and I support the five year jump. I don’t think it worked on DH as very little that happened couldn’t have happened without the jump.. we wouldn’t have gotten MJ and Gabrielle’s sassy daughter so I guess it was a win but the overall quality of the show has gone way down.. but that was already happening way before their five year jump.
they now show GW on ion. (channle 21) They starte d at the beginning of the searies
Tbh, i think the time leap would be good for both shows although i never really watched Ghost Whisper but understand the story lines that go on and i’m totally addicted to One Tree Hill and was upset and shocked with what happened to Lucas & Peyton and thought that maybe the show wouldn’t survive the lost of two great important characters but now i’m thinking maybe it will. The time leap did good for One Tree Hill and in my opinion the show became more interesting and it gave a chance for the actors to act thei age and leave all the history that came with the show from seasons one to four and start a new chapter. One Tree Hill is bringing in three new characters and having a one year time leap which is a good thing because the show can leave “Leyton” behind and begin to focus on the remaining characters that everybody adores. Hopefully the show will survive and this won’t be the death of it, and the same with Ghost whisper.
I think is a horrible idea. I hated when they did that on Desperate Housewives. They shouldn’t change the time of the shows.
This is dedicated to the loved ones we have lost:

ghost whisperer’s executive producers are trying to destroy the show any way possible
GW jumps 5 years…but the finale stated that soemone died during every date listed and the final date is the baby’s birth. I’d figure they tie it to that when it premeired
I have just started watching one tree hill and its the best. i was googling it today and found out that Lucas (my fav) is leaving the story… why and how do they leave… are they comming back? I am only at s1 / e5 so ja…. but i still love it.
LOL what a coincidence….these two are the only shows i watch.. my only two favorite shows
…I LOVE GHOST WHISPERER AND ONE TREE HILL FOREVER
WHAT A COINCIDENCE…these two shows are the ONLY SHOWS I WATCH…they are both my FAVORITE SHOWS….ONE TREE HILL AND GHOST WHISPERER FOREVERRRRRRRRR
I think that Lucas(Chad)and Payton(Hilarie)should come back on thee show.they were my favorite charicters and the show dosnt feel right wothout them!!!!.
I love both of these shows and the time jumps work really well on both shows I didn’t think OTH would be any gud without Leyton but I was wrong it’s still tree hill that I know and love and I really liked season 4 ghost whisperer it was kinda hard to wrap ur head around at first the whole jim/ Sam but once u get used to it it makes sense that jim wldnt leave mel they belong together I think the time jump works well to explore AIdens abilities am so gutted this show got cancelled !!
I absolutely loved the show Ghost Whisper and wish CBS would bring it back for the sixth season. When it was no one could pull me away from the TV. I really enjoyed the show. Jennifer Love Hewitt is a wonderful actress in this show and so it her husband. I believe that there are people that can see spirits. The love that they have between them and their son is wonderful. I love the way Jennifer got the spirits to cross over and helped the families that were affected. I would love to see new espiodes come back on TV for the 2010-2011 season and beyond. Sometimes I would cry while watching the show. I have tried to watch Medium, but it is just not the same. Please bring the show back with new espiodes.
