    I agree we should move on! However, to clarify – John McCain left his first wife who had been severely injured in a car accident while he was a POW. When he returned he divorced her after she waited for him etc. John Edwards you know did what he did… David Letterman is a comedian and a nice guy who told a bad joke – dope – that covers so many people in America – it is nothing like Imus’s blunder… Only in that it wasn’t very funny – cause who cares about Sarah Palin or her severely dysfunctional lifestyle… The joke will be when Willow becomes a pregnant teen or worse from the neglectful parenting she is getting.

    Why should we let comedians, journalists, and talking heads get away with mean degrading remarks? Isn’t anyone sick of it?

    Where are the protesting airline stewardesses? Where is the ball player whose name was used in vain? DL is not a comedian. He is a rude, insecure person who has never gotten over not being hired to replace Johnny Carson nearly 20 years ago. His anger is a bright shinning light. It is time now for a quiet exit to private life.

    what’s the big deal about Palin? she put herself in the spotlight whn she ran for VICE-president. she is dumb as f—k!! She and the f–king Republicans are hypocrites anyway, they talk about the morals of everyone, and they are the biggest thieves and liars on the planet. PALIN put her family in the spotlight now she likes the attention she gets from the media. LETTERMAN is a comedian, so what he made a comment, now everybody want to blow it out of proportion. SARAH Palin believes in carrying guns and shooting animals,I’ve seen her on tv interviews with dead animals. HOW hypocritical? WOW. And about her daughter BRISTOL, she is not the poster child for teen-age pregnancy, it is going to happen no matter what the situation is. i feel that teen-age will never end.

    I applaud Mr. Letterman for his apology to Sarah Palin, she does not deserve an apology. She is a bad human being and a disgrace to caring civilized people. She needs to clean up her image before she critizes others. She is an unfair cold blooded killer of innocent animals. She allows as I,m sure you know the shooting of animals from a helicopter. It is a shame that most people are not aware of her disgusting behavior. My compliments to Mr. Letterman, he did not say anything inappropriate.Sarah Palin is only looking for publicity at any cost, are you able to let the country know of her behavior?
